The Acarsaid - Pitlochry

We were really impressed with the Acarsaid. We booked a family room and were given a suite with double bedroom, single room and bathroom. Complimentary toiletries and biscuits were both a nice touch. Beds were really comfortable and rooms were cosy. The lounge and breakfast room have lovely views of surrounding hills and trees. Breakfast had the best selection with many continental and hot options including options for vegan and gluten free. All staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Only a short walk from the centre with lots of parking available. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend break. We enjoyed visiting the queen's view and the dam and there were plenty of shops and cafes although very busy with tourists.

Just had one of the most relaxed breaks in Pitlochry. The Acarsaid Hotel is really something special. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and is certainly one of the most comfortable. Richard and Karen pretty much do everything within their power to ensure your stay really is everything you want it to be. Will certainly be back.

Scottish hospitality at its best. Fantastic service, comfy beds and very quiet. I'm a very light sleeper but had a great nights sleep. We arrived early but the Acarsaid team let us access the room to freshen up before going to a wedding which was really appreciated. Highly recommend this gem.

Well located being an easy 3 minute walk to town. All the staff were friendly, especially Big Karen (the main stay of the place). Easy parking and good wifi. Clean and tidy Great breakfast with several cooked options as well as the cereal etc. Would gave been excellent except for the bed, you could feel every spring. Quite uncomfortable but we made do. All and all we'd stay again if we were ever back this way.

It's a very fine place to land up, everything very clean and tidy and a comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, it's relaxed service and you feel right at home. Special mention to Karen, who not only found my missing kilt button and made sure I got it back, but insisted on driving us up the wedding venue as it was raining and my wife had her 'wedding shoes' on. Thank you Karen, and the rest of the staff, you are great! Recommend staying here if you're in Pitlochry.

We had a super stay at The Acarsaid. Big Karen was a wonderful host, so friendly and kind. We were upgraded a room and given quality service and had a lovely relaxing stay. Can't recommend enough, we will be back! Thanks a lot, Immy and Cammy. Xx

Having missed our holiday in October due to very bad weather, the Acersaid kindly allowed us to postpone our visit by up to 6 months. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival. Shout out to Big Karen and Taylor for a lovely stay. Room was amazing with a massive bathroom. My wife loved the bath! Breakfast grill was delicious and the sitting area with the fire and bar were great for having a few drinks in the evening. Will be back!

After being apprehensive about booking a solo trip I must say having just left this hotel I needn't have worried. 'Big Karen' was an incredible host and would do anything to help you and make your stay the best it could be, I know if she wasn't there I wouldn't have had the same experience in Pitlochry as I did. Huge asset to the team. Room was lovely, clean and with big windows overlooking the beautiful hills of Pitlochry. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty choices too. Location was perfect, far enough away not to be disturbed by the night life but close enough to walk to and from town. Huge thanks to Karen for making my solo trip one I won't forget 😁

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of the town, fish ladder and theatre. Incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice including fish, buffet and full cooked Scottish breakfast. Highly recommended.
