First impressions not good, reception staff ok, but we were allocated a back room, ground floor, when we had paid for a room overlooking the pool and sea. However we were shown an excellent room, reasonably close to the lift and on the 3rd floor. The hotel has about 300 rooms, spread around the pool, so some rooms can be far from the lifts. The buffet was adequate, we learnt to get the dessert at the same time as the starter as some items would be gone by the time we had finished our main course. You can fill your own bottle for water at breakfast only. This hotel is well situated, 10 minutes walk to the right into the town (3 lovely clothes shops), 10 minutes to the left to the marina, with a market in the mornings on Wednesday and Saturday, and 5 minutes walk downhill to a lovely sandy/shelly beach, with good snorkelling. Supermarket opposite the hotel. During the day there is a entertainer on a loudspeaker in the pool area, who does bingo, aerobics etc which can be a bit noisy. 2 venues for evening entertainment, a singer in the bar area (none brilliant) and jugglers, light show, acrobats in the other area. The lights on the balconies are switched off at 11pm. More than enough sunbeds, most of which are not bagged by 7am!! The safe in the room costs 16e to hire. Towels to be had for the pool area, close to the 'indoor heated pool'. No charge, we kept the same towel all week, not sue if there is a charge if you keep changing them. All in all, a pleasant week in good sunshine, warm enough to only need t shirts, but it can get slightly chilly in the evening.
