Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort

Un hotel excelente, muy bonito y bien ubicado. Es caro pero alguna vez en la vida merece la pena.

Yes This hotel is amazing I’m a 47 year old lone parent and travelled with my 12 year old son and we have travelled the world and genuinely have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The welcome when we arrived was fantastic, luggage taken straight to rooms from the coach, greeted with champagne/juice and cleared check in in minutes. The room was huge-separate bedroom with tv and triple wardrobe, hallway with triple wardrobe, massive bathroom with separate toilet, double basins, sunken bath and walk in shower, bar area with fridge, microwave and sink, lounge with tv, 2 sofas and dining table and chairs for 4, outside patio with two sun lounger chairs and washing line. Each night a turn down service was given, folding down the duvets, folding pjs and leaving a Lindor Room service was fast, hot and delicious. Spa was amazing-fabulous treatments and clean All staff we met were friendly and polite. Breakfast was immense with full English, pastries, cheeses, meats, cereals, fruit, juices et al. We booked a tour with Guest Services and all fine. Genuinely an amazing hotel which is situated halfway between Marina Rubicón and main town of Playa Blanca -10 minutes walk to either and directly on Playa Dorada beach. You couldn’t ask for a better location or hotel-book with utter confidence ❤️

Well what can I say about this amazing hotel and staff !! Totally amazing stay as usual . Our 7th visit to this hotel for my birthday ! If you want piece and quiet this is the place for you ! Rooms are massive food is excellent and the whole place is immaculate . If anyone writes a negative report about this place then they are lying ! This is our 2 nd home and we look forward to another 2 week stay in September ! Thank you to all the staff we love you

Had a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel, staff were very nice, hotel breakfast selection was very good and varied. Pool was not too busy and plenty of sunbeds to go around. Room was a little dated but very clean our room attendant Marta was very pleasant. It’s in a great location to wander to the Marina or the town for nightlife and a wide variety of restaurants and right opposite a lovely beach. Never been to Lanzarote before but will be back.

Overall I have to say this hotel is fantastic but sadly, I left with a bit of a sour taste. Upon arrival we were met by the concierge, who whipped our cases away and presented us with a glass of cava! The hotel reception area is very impressive and the hotel smells incredible throughout. The room was as we expected from reading other reviews in that it was quite dated but very clean and loads of space so not complaining. The food at the three buffet restaurants was fantastic at both breakfast and dinner with loads of variety and everything was fresh! The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced and it was refreshing that some of the staff seemed quite knowledgeable on local wines and gave us some great recommendations. The drinks from the hotel bars were a little more expensive than the local bars but the Mahou did taste a little more premium than some. The beer was about 6 euro, cocktails 9/10 euro and spirit and a mixer 12 euro. We spent our time at the bottom pool which was lovely, however it did feel like a bit of a wind tunnel and the weather was mixed while we were there so when it was cloudy, the wind made it uncomfortable. We ended up on the Dorada beech on a few days which was more sheltered. The staff were great for the vast majority, however I did question this on my last two days. So on return from a day at the beech we cane back to find our room was wide open, I expected that room service were in there but they weren’t! There was no sign of damage so could only presume that they had left it open after cleaning as the room had been made up! We haven’t noticed anything missing but an opportunist could easily have walked in as it was literally wide open. We did call guest services to highlight the situation but the first person we spoke to didn’t understand English and the second person just said it mush have been housekeeping!! No mention of an apology which was disappointing. The last day of the trip we checked out at 12 and our bags were stored while we stayed around the pool until our transfer at 7pm. We were given a room to shower and change in which was pre bookable. This is a fantastic service and you don’t always get it so easily. At the time we checked out we asked reception if we could use the restaurant prior to pick up as the food was great as I mentioned and better than the airport! We were told that was fine. When we entered the restaurant I told the waiter we had checked out and we would pay for everything! I ordered drinks and again made it very clear we were going to pay as we had checked out and didn’t have a room to charge it too. As we ate our meal a lady from guest services approached the table and in front of other guests in the very quiet terrace area made a massive point of the fact we shouldn’t be eating in the restaurant as we had checked out but they had decided it was ok and they wouldn’t charge us but reiterated we needed to pay for the drinks! Not the 5* service you expect. Guess is that there is new management heavily cutting back on costs. Swimming pool toilets always dirty. My bedroom sink had a million ants crawling out of it. There was a turndown chcolate, same one every night (when they decided to bother turning down my room which wasn’t often) but not the gifts like in previous years that you come to expect. Christmas dinner was bleak and we were told by other people sitting at our table that if they were bed and breakfast they were told they had no option but to book it at 211 per person I believe. The show wasn’t in English or any language other than Spanish so couldn’t be enjoyed and I was served a single plain piece of cod. No sauce not garnish. My only dietary requirement is that I’m pescatarian. Overall bleak and not good like previous years. Oh and to add, there was still wrappers on the cheese at the buffet. Was a beautiful place and still is but not 5* anymore and not worth the 5* pricing

On arrival we were met by very friendly staff and offered a drink, which was most welcome. We were also given an upgraded suite. The room was lovely and spacious with a separate sitting area and a large balcony with breathtaking views. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable, there was a free safe, a large fridge, microwave, dressing gown, slippers and free bottled water each day. There was a turndown service which also came with a Lindt chocolate every night. Had the breakfast Buffett each day and it was exceptional with a lot of choice. The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk to the Marina or Playa Blanca with lots of restaurants and bars. There was never a problem getting a sun lounger by the pool and towels are provided. Would definitely return one day, truly a 5 star experience 😊

Fabulous as always! This is at least our 10th visit to Yaiza - possibly more and we love it more each time. We have booked for Christmas- so EXCITED! So - just to summarise why we love this exceptional place so much: 1: Staff - every single person you come across is lovely -everyone focused on doing their best and giving the most exemplary customer service 2. A beautiful hotel -a lot of old Lanzarote wood & blue /white tiles. It’s not overly modern or full of bling but it’s beautiful, spacious, extremely comfortable with amazing plants. Bathrooms and beds super comfortable and very spacious living areas in the sea view suites. We love this hotel 3. Excellent breakfasts and dinners: We always book half board - which includes a huge / as much as you can eat breakfast and depending on when you visit a choice of restaurants for a buffet dinner. This week (end of June / shoulder season) there’s just the 1 buffet restaurant open for half board -or an allowance for a number of a la carte restaurants.We have eaten at the buffet restaurant every night. The food has been delicious and ever changing. No concerns at all 4. Lovely pool facilities- a number of pools including quite a busy main pool plus a smaller toddler pool then a quieter v large pool which we’ve used all week. Plenty of pool side seats - but we are naughty and do put our towels down at around 0930 before breakfast. Even if we didn’t there’s still loads of room. Overall another fabulous holiday - we are very sad to leave but we are massively looking forward to Christmas at the Princess Yaiza O

Really great experience in the Princess Yaiza . Fantastic resort with every facility yo need. The tem are fantastic and can't do enough for you in particular the Animation team who are all fantastic. Special mention for Kim and Ester for the Tote bag painting on Wednesday and Antonio and Sebas who were great fun at the daily Pool quiz. Thanks a million guys..
