Playa del Ingles - Maspalomas

Seafront Walk: Playa del Augustin to Maspalomas: 1. Length: 4.5 miles pleasant mostly gentle footpath runs along the seafront with beautiful views. 2. Starts from near Balcon de San Agustin restaurant and ends at the Sand Dunes in front of the Rui Palace Hotel. 3. Condition: Mostly paved path with granite tiles, except a small section around San Agustín Beach Club Hotel. The walk is mostly level or gently sloping, with two exceptions where there are several scores of steps: one near Playa del Veril and the second near Playa del Ingles. 4. Hazards: The granite paved path gets slippery in wet conditions. Also in windy dry weather parts of the path can get engulfed by wind blown sand. The path is regularly patrolled by policemen on motorcycles, and is generally safe. 5. There several sandy beaches close to the walk. None has sufficient natural or manmade sea-breaks. 6. The path is close to the public bus routes so if you feel tired and want to leave you can get to a bus stop within an average of 10 to 15 minutes. 7. There are many cafes and restaurants along the path. It is recommended that you pack a small bottle of water and a snack.

My husband and I had a really delicious meal in the ' Ritz' in the Yumbo Centre. I ordered the fillet steak which was one of the juiciest I have ever had. My husband had the cheese and bacon burger and said it was really good. It was without doubt our favourite meal of the whole holiday.
