Palace Hotel

As it is a city heritage, I understand that it is an old building. I even like it. But it's expensive, unkempt and dirty. The shower was disgusting, the tiles never get clean. I will never recommend this hotel again and I will never recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to shops. Loved the breakfast. Room was nice. The hotel itself needs a lot of renovation. We used the pool, but there was a lot of noise from renovation, not very relaxing. It has seen better days.

The walls are tgen snd you csn hesr everything. Older crowd do does stay quiet at night. Breakfast is A-mazing

The place is wonderful and the staff are helpful. I just noticed a few problems: the TV wasn’t working, the WIFI was really bad or not existing and there were no blankets in the room (the night was chilling).

The rooms are very outdated and dirty !The bathroom window is situated on the balcony of the adjacent room ,so the person from next door room can looks inside your bathroom (umbeliavable right?Our flight was delayed and i contacted ******* to advise then we were going to check in one day later ,and the ******* agent spent over 28 minutes waiting then to pick up !There were always only one person on front desk to attend all guests !Every time you past in the reception you see a long line waiting !Too bad !There is a wonderful Hotel 2 blocks from this one and for less than $37 a day "Hotel Minas Gerais !We stayed in there for 22 days !

This was the worse experience that I ever had in my life,,, from start to finish… stay away from this place.. the staff are sooooo rude,, the place has molds everywhere… I don’t understand how they are open for business…. They MUST shut down….

I'd highly recommend this property. It's a step back in time. The room was nice, breakfast was good. The location is fantastic. I think they even upgraded our room. We went in May so it was low season. My only complaint was at check out there was some confusion regarding the bill. I'd already paid through Orbitz, but was given a bill. The amount of which was twice what I'd anticipated. I ended up paying half of the bill because I forgot to change the reservation default from 1 to 2 guests. There was obviously some miscommunication somewhere between Orbitz (*******) and the hotel. I understand a higher amount than quoted because of the cost of Breakfast for two people. Double the cost is ridiculous.... But if I'd booked correctly it wouldn't have happened. I was left wondering how much was good faith and how much was price gouging? I'm going to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. I'll stay again. Bottom line is Book correctly, double check your bill and enjoy.

Razoavel . Fui com minha esposa e minha sogra idosa, que necessita de ajuda para se locomover. Pedi um quarto acessivel para eka e pedi que os 2 quartos fossem um ao lado do outro. Nos colocaram em andares diferentes. Minha esposa previsou dormir no quarto da mãe para ajuda-la em alguma eventualidade. Apesar de ser tratado com Educacao pelo pessoal da recepção, nao tive meu pedido atendido..3 dias de estadia com quartos em andares diferentes.

Hotel precisa de mais cuidado, piscina estava suja tanto a agua quanto ao redor da piscina, nítida impressão que ninguém estava limpando nada. O restaurante está invadido por PARDAIS, ficam voando sobre os alimentos e retiram alimentos das mesas. Eu pedi para falar com o gerente, me disseram que ele estava em reunião e depois iria me procurar, só que estou aguardando um contato ate hoje! Me hospedei outras vezes nesse hotel, e não tive problemas, mas dessa vez achei um descaso e a preocupação com os PARDAIS atacando os alimentos!
