Camping Pomport Beach

Lovely campsite. Clean and good amenities. However, entertainment very disappointing. The girls can't be faulted on what must be a nearly zero budget. They put the effort in so it is not there fault. But your site is taking by my calculations at least 10,000 euros per day, probably 20,000 or more. Come on! Put some proper entertainment on. Musicians, bands, shows! Skipping, and dancing is ok early for kids, but something a bit more later on. Personally, I would far rather revisit other yelloh village sites that have a more suitable entertainment budget.

Despite the lovely campsite, we were made to feel very unwelcome in the bar. We would arrive to empty tables (literally 20 plus empty tables) every night without exception but because we only buy drinks - two each, we were told, every night that the tables are all booked, we aren’t allowed to sit at them and they are reserved for people eating. We are then directed outside. When we leave, an hour later, all the tables are still empty. Don’t bother visiting. Staff are rude, unhelpful and disrespectful.

This campsite is brilliant for families. There is always plenty to do with incredibly helpful staff. The lake on site is a great bonus as well as the pools. The toilets and showers are impeccable- comparable to some hotels. The staff entertained kids well as well as being incredibly helpful. Our daughter was unwell whilst here- staff organised a doctors appoin**ents, communicated with them and gave us directions- faultless. If you have young kids this is the site for you. Great sized pitches as well.

We stayed in the chalets which was far from camping. They had aircon, TV (english channels), kichen with dish washer... The kids had plenty of space, and we had a veranda which we sat on every morning for breakfast. We were right opposite the lake, where our 12 year old learnt how to wake board. Every morning fresh croissants and breads are delivered to the site, and you can book them the day before for breakfast. There is also a shop 2 minutes down the road, and it's a short drive from Bergerac town which was beautiful. The kids loved the water park, and the restaurant next door lets you down drinks (in plastic cups) to the pool area. I think the best part of it all was you are right in the middle of wine country.... you are driving through vineyards in every direction. It was the most amazing time. We'll definitely go back.

Beautiful site. We had a lakeside pitch this time, which was absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff, great amenities, very clean and tidy, feels really safe. So much to do for families and having the choice of either the lake/ beach or the pool is a novelty.

There really is no words this is a fantastic site that just keeps on getting better. All the staff are friendly and professional. Management are always on site from early morning to late at night. This is our second visit and wow so many improvements have been made since we were last here. The new shower blocks are clean and very well thought out even the kids have their own shower block. The ski wire is fabulous and not expensive at all well worth a try. Bouncy castles are around for the kids and they are free. The site is in the middle of vineyards and has visiting winery’s selling their wine at least 2 Times a week. The on site restaurant is very good value for money and not expensive A good 20 minute walk get you to the village of Sigoules where there’s a small supermarket or 15 minutes by car and your in Bergerac at a hyper market. Pitches are all a good size some are huge lakeside pitches are all very good and again a good size. You need to visit for yourself to see just how good this site is. We will definitely visit again

Camping pour 90 pourcents hollandais 10 anglais 10 francais très déçu cela nous a pas été précisé Les soirées la première semaine toutes en néerlandais le deuxième semaine cela a été mieux du aux nombreuses réclamations elles se finissent à 22h étant donné que à 7h15 /7h30 vous êtes réveillée par les hollandais qui crie joue au ballon Le camping en lui même très bien cela est bien dommage Au bar le personnel très gentil mais pareil pas de réservation plus tard que 20h15 car 17-30 faut servir les hollandais bien sûr 😡 21h fermeture des cuisines Je trouve bien ça dommage Les sanitaires très propre juste des remontées égouts Et pour ce qui est du réseau une catastrophe même en achetant une connections cela ne fonctionne pas où très peu En espérant que mon avis sera affiché car vu le peu de français qui était au camping et qui devait mettre un avis J en vois aucun Bien dommage quand on économise toute l année pour ses vacances et que ça nous arrive

Très beau camping ! Très bien situé, au cœur du vignoble ! Beaucoup de choses à voir à côté ! Il s'agit d'un camping Yelloh catégorie "authentique" donc il n'y a pas beaucoup d'animation. Nous avons été bien accueillis, le camping est calme, très bien entretenu et très propre. Il n'y a effectivement pas de connexion mais il y a le WiFi gratuit vers la réception et on a le droit à 1h de connexion gratuite par jour. Points d'amélioration : - En ces temps de réchauffement climatique je pense que les bungalows positionnés au soleil devraient avoir la climatisation car à l'intérieur c'est le four. Il est important que les clients soient au courant de l'emplacement de leur bungalow afin de le modifier si nécessaire surtout en début de vacances d'été. - équipe d'animation trop peu expérimentée et manque de confiance mais on sent que l'envie est là (exemple: recyclage des questions d'un quizz d'une semaine à l'autre...dommage pour ceux qui restent 10 ou 15 jours) - comme il n'y a pas beaucoup de réseaux, ça serait bien de mettre, à la supérette, un choix de magazines et de journaux... - en tant de réchauffement climatique (oui j'insiste), il serait idéal de laisser les lumières allumées plus longtemps au niveau du tennis et du baskets poir nous permettre de jouer jusqu'à 22h30 ou si pas possible, prévenir lors de la fermeture des éclairages par un membre du camping car cela peut être dangereux pour ceux qui sont en train de jouer. Malgré ces points c'est un plaisir d'y séjourner !! Je recommande !

Aucune connexion il faut absolument prendre de la connexion payante, quel dommage nous sommes 2022 . c'est le gros point noir. Le camping est sympa . Restaurant où il n y avait plus grand chose à manger. Plus de crêpes industrielles depuis 3semained au dire des employés. Dommage de ne pas en avoir fait des fraîches
