Ukino Palmeiras Village - 24h All Inclusive

Everyone was so friendly! The hotel was very clean, laundry was washed and dried the same day (for a reasonable fee). The buffet was great quality and the restaurant was constantly cleaned ready for new diners. Juan is the best for activities, I highly recommend you seek him out for a laugh and great fun! Snack bar is great, drinks are great quality not watered down at all. The beach is amazing but an uphill walk back so not ideal for people with respiratory difficulties. Would highly recommend getting an Uber to the old town and taking a boat trip to see the dolphins and caves! I will definitely be returning, hopefully next summer! 10/10 from me!

Good points: Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and explained the whole process The room was lovely, clean & plenty of room for 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids) The food was always something different every night and they have a kids area which was useful. The snack bar was a particular favourite for our family with hotdogs, burgers & chips (which always go down well). There is a bar open somewhere from 10.30am to midnight. If you stay over 7 nights you get à la carte dinner included, this was a highlight of our stay and we absolutely loved it! From the food to the service 5* treatment! Bad points: If your not French you don't fit in, entertainment is on from 8pm for French. English kids have to wait til 9pm which was way to late for us. Entertainment in the day was French orientated. English are never asked to join. The food is luke warm at best. I had to microwave my omelette every morning (thank god for the microwave) We had to spend a lot of time in the lobby bar due to bad weather, however the line for drinks was always out the door as they only seemed to have one member of staff on (I found the staff in the lobby bar to be very rude) they clearly don't want to be here. Or are they are understaffed? Which leads them to treat people poorly The TV kept freezing also, my husband is a big football fan so if you are planning to watch football here i wouldn't reccomend it, when you ask about the TV you just get a shrug and they can't do anything. Overall it wasn't the worst holiday and we enjoyed it mainly. The kids loved the pool! The slides were fun & the arcade was good fun! However, we won't be coming back here. Mainly for the way we were treated in the lobby bar (a tall man with no hair & a beard especially) & the warmth of the food.

Great hotel with several pools and close to the beach. Several restaurants and the beat all inclusive food we have experienced. Lots of activities and plenty to do. There are 3 restaurants that are not included in the all inclusive, but you can have 1 meal in one if you are staying for 7 nights

Amazing hotel/complex, staff, food, drinks,rooms and facilities. Everywhere constantly clean and immaculately kept! Thank you all for a memorable holiday

We went here as 2 sisters and 2 4 year olds. The hotel was lovely, we arrived at 11pm and got checked in quickly and then had access to the snack bar. Room was spacious even with 4 people sharing with a balcony looking over the pool. 4 pools 2 big 2 children's, although the pool was very cold once in you were fine, kids didn't even care at all. Food was lovely lots of option. Area is a bit quiet but get the little train outside hotel for €4 and hop off at the little town for shopping and the beach then hop back on with your ticket. One tip, if your child likes juice like blackcurrant then take a bottle with you it's hard to find anywhere. Defo would stay again.

Stayed for a week in October Half Term with hubby and 7 year old son. Arrived around 9pm. Check in went really smoothly and we were encouraged to head for some dinner as the main restaurant was still open. We were given a room on the top (8th) floor. I personally don’t like heights and didn’t feel comfortable with my son leaning over the balcony so asked to be moved. Reception staff were really accommodating and moved us to a room down on the 3rd floor. The hotel has 2 main buffet restaurants and a couple of a la carte; one of which is included for a visit on the all inclusive basis. The food was always plentiful, hot and fresh. Lots of meat options (most nights there was a carvery), fish, fresh pizza, pastas, breads and salads. There were multiple dessert options and fruit and ice cream. Beer, wine and soft drinks are self serve in the restaurants. The Asian a la carte was delicious but felt rushed. Given it was a set menu (no choice for starter/dessert and around 3 main courses) the food was clearly pre prepared and each course arrived very quickly with minimum time between to digest/relax. I’d also note that there is no separate children’s menu (not an issue for us but if you have fussy kids you might want to reconsider). The hotel could do with a snack bar for things like burgers, pizza etc so that you don’t have to have a proper sit down meal during the day but that’s just personal preference. There is another restaurant (nibbles) which is open when the main restaurants aren’t (so essentially you can get food 24 hours a day). It contained snacks eg. cold meat, cheese, fruit bread etc which I thought was a nice touch, especially for those with flights that arrive later in the evening. The difference between all inclusive and all inclusive plus was minimal - photo attached for reference. The pool didn’t open til 9am, which meant you didn’t need to reserve sunbeds at ridiculous o’clock. We never actually had an issue getting sun beds at any point of the day but could have been down to low season. The pool was FREEZING, but once you were in and got over that initial shock you got used to it. Slides and mini water park also good fun for the kids. Kids club is open 10.30-12.30 and 3-5pm. My son went a couple of times and seemed to enjoy it. The staff were very friendly and encouraging. The evening entertainment was ok. Kids disco was of the usual standard and the shows were a bit of a hit and miss. The Burlesque for example I thought was really good but the magic show, not so much!! They have popcorn and candy floss for sale for €3 each and a shot on the bouncy castle was €5 for 20 minutes. They also periodically had exotic animals and birds that you could be photographed with for €10. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Fantastic hotel, food and staff superb. Everything about the place is quality, every part of the hotel was immaculate. The all inclusive meals and drinks are again top quality, we have stayed all inclusive many times and paid a lot more and none were as good as here. The staff can’t do enough for you and all very pleasant which is unusual these days. The are is nice with great beaches and the town only 5 mins away. Guarantee you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Well done to Ukino and all the staff.

I booked a trip away for me and 2 sons very last minute as I had the week off work. And I am SO glad I chose this hotel. We booked through Jet2 so got a fantastic deal, was basically a steal for everything we got. The hotel was clean and tidy. The reception staff were all really lovely and in general the majority of staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic, the food was plentiful and very tasty with a great selection for all taste buds. We were all really happy with it. Especially the 24hour snack bar, because growing boys seem to always been hungry. The pools were a little cold but once you were in and splashing about it was fine. Slides were an added bonus. The gyms were well kitted out aswell and my 16 year old made use of them every day. There is a beach not too far away and it was gorgeous and seemed so secluded. We would definitely return again as we all really enjoyed it. The only slight negative I would say is the entertainment at night wasn't to our taste, but I think this was more to do with a language barrier rather than anything else.

Great hotel great value we booked with easy jet just a week before we travelled transfer was the best ever a private mini bus to resort only 3 stops to our hotel we where last stop and on the way back straight to airport food was good plenty of choices lots of sunbeds both beside the pools and in the garden area room wall large and well appointed one issue was on the day we where leaving no courtesy room only area to shower is a the pool bar but the shower is cold so if you have a late departure its not ideal other than this small issue we had a lovely holiday
