Booked a two-night stay for hubby, myself and 10-yo and arrived at 2pm to check-in, as noted on our email confirmation. After checking in, paying in advance and receiving our room key, we proceeded to take our bags up two flights of stairs to our room. We passed another guest leaving, who said his room wasn't ready, so ours might not be either. Gulp... So with trepidation, turned the key to our room to find it just as the previous guests left it. Only two cleaning staff for this large hotel showed up for work today. I understand that's not good for anyone. But why would you take someone's money and give them a room key if you weren't confident the room was ready? I asked for and received a full refund and we found somewhere else to stay.
