Il San Pietro di Positano

This is an amazing property all the way around. The location and facilities are wonderful. The food is spectacular. But, what really sets this place apart is the service and the people. The warm hospitality from the entire staff will make you feel so welcome and at home. You really seem like part the family while you are staying. I can't imagine a better place to stay!

WOW, WOW, WOW words and even pictures cannot convey how magical and amazing this hotel is. The accommodations and view stunning, service is impeccable, food is delicious, attention to detail they go beyond. More than highly recommend for an unforgettable stay. Best part of our Italian vacation was our time at Il San Pietro and did not want to leave! You are removed from the craziness of Positano and in the most serene atmosphere but easy to get into Positano and enjoy the town. Also easy to take the ferry to Capri. We had the opportunity to attend a special dinner with the chef from Zass and two other Michelin starred chefs. Beautiful experience. If offered during your stay don't miss it.

Il San Pietro is the most magical place I've ever been! The beautiful decor and stunning views are breathtaking. The entire staff makes you feel like family, creating an amazing atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the pool and beach club are perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible hotel. Our room was stunningly beautiful with a large water view terrace with a perfect view towards Praiano where we watched the sun rise over an ocean cliff in the morning, the ocean sparkle during the day, and the butterflies and birds dance all day over the flower covered cliff side below us. It was like being in a dream. The rest of the hotel is absolutely stunning though far from pretentious. This is due to the warmth, charm and incredible friendliness of the amazing staff. After just a day or two, we felt like we were family. The food is spectacular - Carlino's, the beachside restaurant is excellent; Zass, a 2 star Michelin rated restaurant, is sublime. Morning breakfast though in Zass was one of my favorites; eating a beautiful breakfast watching the sun sparkle on the ocean as the day emerged. Just incredible. The outdoor terrace with its incredible views, cocktail scene, and amazing green olives served with all drinks was equally stunning. And it does not end there. The beach area is incredible. There is an elevator, literally carved into an ocean cliff, that brings you down to a grotto where you then enter their own beach, a beach terrace for sunning and swimming, and a paddle board/kayaking area at the beach. There is a daily complimentary boat tour of the Amalfi Coast which includes swimming and drinks. The gym is outdoor under orange trees. Pilates and yoga is beachfront in the morning at 9. This is the best place that I have ever stayed at - the hotel, the private beach, the food, the many amenities, but most importantly, the lovely and amazing staff who welcomed us so warmly. My husband and I are so thankful that we were able to visit this wonderful place. I would give Il San Pietro 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5.

We had a wonderful time at Il San Pietro. I'm convinced there's no bad view. Even when facing the hotel, it's something gorgeous. The entire property is well kept and the staff is so kind and courteous. We felt well taken care of here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying along the Amalfi Coast -- especially if you want to escape the noise of Positano for some serenity. The beach club was lovely and we really enjoyed the free boat tour. The shuttles worked flawlessly and we only wish we could've tried more of the amenities they offer in the time we were there!

We had an exceptional stay. Dinner at Carolino was delicious..we got to experience dinner at Zass, the on-site Michelin restaurant. We experienced the most and wonderful cuisine. Exquisite service by the staff. Can’t wait to return to this amazing resort hotel.

The people are what make San Pietro special. Each member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. It seems like the team thinks of everything, so we don’t have to. This is consistent with each interaction during our stay, regardless of which department or time of day Very memorable and special experience

I cannot give a higher recommendation for this hotel. Our experience was magical and we will be back! The service was excellent and the views were breathtaking. The rooms, food and staff were of the highest caliper. This hotel was one of the most memorable experiences of our 2024 trip to Italy!
