Three Horseshoes Inn

We stayed the night here and were beautifully looked after by Joseph who welcomed us, showed us the detailed workings of the room and presented a wonderful breakfast. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed and sofa. The view is amazing and the area is outstanding. One night was not enough. Would definitely recommend

This ideal pub set in a pretty location is a must stop off point for real ale, good food, great service and great fire. The staff and locals were very friendly and we were made to feel so welcome. There is a good choice of local ale and good homemade food.

The second time we have visited this lovely pub and we always want to go back. The welcome you get is like your old friends, the drinks are reasonably priced and as for the food - I don't think we have eaten anywhere as good ever! We miss it already and are looking at dates to come back. Thank you Ian, Emma and Joseph for a fantastic time x

Ian, Emma and family made us and the other guests very welcome. Lovely, comfortable rooms, good food and a proper breakfast each day. Excellent evening meals too. On top of the hill in beautiful Powerstock in Dorset's Hidden Triangle, this is a super, quiet and relaxed location. Ideal place to get away from it all. In front, it's a country pub, at the back the vista is quintessential England at its best with views to die for. Go now while England still exists and step back in time just a little.

The room was lovely, very comfortable with everything you need. Our room was quite large so plenty of space for our Doberman to stay as well. Great bed - very comfortable. Stunning views and surroundings of the idyllic Dorsey countryside. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Pub its self has a warm atmosphere. Great choice of beers to accompany home cooked food. Owners are very accommodating and welcoming. 100% would stay again. Think Cerberus agrees too!

We loved our stay at the Three Horseshoes Inn. Ian, Emma and Joseph are all wonderful hosts who made us (and our miniature dachshund) feel really welcome. Our room was spotlessley clean and nicely decorated. We arrived on a sunny evening so the views of the valley from the Juliet balcony gave the space a real wow-factor. We dined in the pub and the food was excellent, complimented by a great range of drinks and real ales. Breakfast was excellent quality, plentiful and the perfect start to a day's exploring. I highly recommend the Three Horseshoes Inn for a relaxing stay in the Dorset countryside and hope to return.

Great stay! Thank you Emma, Ian and Joseph for a lovely few days stay! For anyone looking at this, you don't need to search any further. This b&b is so accommodating and friendly to the point we had such a lovely time- we didn't actually want to go! Set in a beautiful location, and central for exploring Dorset its ideal for couples and families alike. Our room was large with wonderful views overlooking farmland and fields, a very comfy bed, super clean and we had all the facilities we needed in the room. We ate both nights in the pub after a full days activity. Emma along with everything else is an amazing cook providing a delicious menu with plentiful portions. Ian and Joseph behind the bar are a great team together. Ian is very entertaining with his quick wit and Joseph very attentive to your glass! With the locals in the pub and the friendly banter, its like being in someones front room with new found friends. In summary, a lovely well run traditional family pub, in a quiet hamlet providing a centre point for the needs of a local community, as well as providing guests with a homely comfortable experience. What else could you ask for? Thoroughly recommend a stop here! Wishing the family all the success they deserve.

A special Gem. I write around only 4 or 5 reviews a year. They range from luxury end of the market eg. The Rams head inn shelter island USA to the back packers must vist Camping Playa Cacao Golfito Costa Rica. In each case there is something special that really makes the place worth knowing about and visiting. This small and quiet b&b. not to be confused with the other 3 horseshoes establishments elsewhere in Dorset has only 2 comfortable en suite bed sittingrooms each with beautiful views over the surrounding hills.Situated in a quiet picture postcard village together with church and easy parking (15 yards from the rooms ) it is ideal as a base for exploring Dorset and the nearby coast. Dog and walker friendly it has good food and drink avilable in the small (one bar room) attatched local pub. There is a gastro pub in the next hamlet 5 minutes away by car. Friendly and helpful landlord and lady make the stay a real pleasure. The breakfasts are huge and delicious. A place to escape to after the bustle of busy roads and beaches.They have a suntrap patio at the rear of the pub, just the place to have a drink and watch the sun go down.Its DT6 3TD 01308 485328 Peter Stage 29/6/2023
