Make sure you make alternative parking arrangements as they don't tell you that the parking can cost you a much as an additional nights stay. The bedroom was dirty, linen had hair on it, black smudge marks on the pillow, and the curtains don't close. The lamp in the room has pieces of it missing, which were tucked behind the coffee machine. When raised with the reception, they apologized and did nothing about it!

Placed in an excellent location in Malá Strana, at walking distance of the Charles Bridge (Karluv Most / Podul Craol), the Castle (Hrad), and Old Town, with nearby bars, pubs, and restaurants, this boutique is the perfect choice for a city break in Prague. Cozy, personalized comfortable rooms, access 7/24, (really) excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel is possible, but problematic due to very limited parking spots, however, the staff can arrange nearby parking solutions for those arriving by car. Very good communication with the Hotel management prior to arrival - useful for some orientation issues. Tip: The top-floor room we booked offered a splendid view over the town and the Castle.

Amazing location just close to the Prahue Castle and very helpful staff, just the rooms were really very smll and there were no electric kettles in them (the kitchenette with the kettles etc. is available in the ground floor (lobby), but you simply must leave your room and go there - which we were finding enoying. Everything else was very fine including breakfasts.

We had a nice stay here. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious. The elevator was very slow, and we used the hotel laundry service. Our laundry was most definitely not cleaned. It still smelled dirty as when we first gave it, and our clothes were crunchy. We had one shopping bag worth of laundry and it cost $90 for clothes we had to clean again at another place. We complained to the front desk and they took half off but honestly the laundry service is so appalling. Great place to stay if you don't need laundry service, but it also makes me side eye the sheets and towels.

My room was little but the sight extraordinary...The staff were simply perfect I recommend totally for a couple.

I don't know why anyone would call this place clean or comfortable. I am baffled by how disgusting this hotel was. We only stayed about two hours before promptly booking another hotel and leaving. First, the room was so fragrant. I could hardly breathe it stunk so bad, and I wouldn't even sit on the bed because the sheets were so fragrant. Then, we realized how incredibly dirty the carpet and walls were. There were so many stains on the carpets and walls and even a huge burn mark on the floor. Next, came the ants. There were quite a few ants running around the room and they got all over a pair of our shoes. Another filthy detail is that the chair in the room smelled so sour, as if had been cleaned over and over with a dirty rag. Finally, the room and balcony used in the photos for the room we booked looked nothing like the actual room we got, and the balcony was much smaller. We checked out within 2.5 hours or less and we did not ask for a refund but were offered a refund. They literally encouraged us to call ******* so that ******* could call them to confirm the refund. But when ******* called to confirm the refund, the hotel denied it. The only redeeming quality about this place is its prime location. If you want to be I'm the heart of Mala Strana, and you don't mind a dirty and run-down hotel, then go for it. If you want to feel clean and cozy, this is absolutely not the place for you. I was disappointed with this "hotel." It's so gross, and I felt cheated.

The period of the glory of LH Vintage Design Sax Hotel obviously passed many years ago. Dirty and scratched walls, cracked tile, tattered flooring carpet, peeling paint, rusted window frames, torn off blinds is not what you expect booking superior room in a four star hotel. Further more the floor heating in a bathroom is out of order and there is no other heating. Guys at the reception desk are 'helpless' and not even willing to solve the problem by providing electric heater. I strongly do not advise booking. It's definitely not four star hotel.

great location. clean and quite cozy equipped rooms. very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Accommodation in a small but well equipped room for our needs. in the evening from the terrace a beautiful romantic view of Petrin Hill. the hotel provides parking nearby for a fee. Great location on the Lesser Town and close to Prague Castle
