Arrived at the hotel around midnight following a late flight. Receptionist couldn’t find our booking which was part of a package with British Airways holidays. It appeared that there was a booking that had been cancelled. We were then told the hotel was at full occupancy but they could accommodate us in their sister hotel if we paid the nightly room rate. It wasn’t what we wanted to do but given the time we had little choice. The following morning, we went back to the Superior and were given a room. Still haven’t found out what happened but between the hotel and BA, they managed to resolve the situation. The hotel itself, sadly does not live up to its name. There is not much Superior about it. That said it was clean and had the basics for a short stay. Our double room was two twin beds pushed together and it was pretty small. The shower head was broken in the bathroom but got fixed promptly after we informed reception. The location of the hotel is great. A short walk to Wenceslas Square, Old Town, Jewish Quarter and even the Castle is walkable. There is public transport available for those who don’t like walking although we never used it. We did however use Bolt, a ride share app similar to Uber but we found true rates much cheaper. The hotel has a small breakfast room with a small selection of hot and cold items. Tea, coffee and fruit juice are available also.
