Martin Hotel Prague

It is impossible to find anything good to write about the stay in this hotel, except the rejoicing that we were able to leave. The whole place is tired, the staff have no authority, the room smelt, the breakfast was unpleasant, and the bar restaurent downstairs was best forgotten. This could be a good hotel, it just needs an imaginative leader to push it up a gear.

I have stayed here a few times previous, but I feel the standards have slipped a bit, the room 4th floor with sloping roof was absolutely fine, clean bed and clean bathroom, maybe good do with a bit of an update, there was some crocked plaster and the paint was fading. The breakfast is brilliant and I recommend it to anyone. Safe is digital, fridge is in room and bathroom has toiletries supplied with a hairdryer, there is enough storage space. There is no late reception now and I think it may be 8pm or 9pm when it isn't manned Downstairs in Zubjada restaurant you get 15% off as a guest and the food is goo, that is a seperate review. All staff pleasant, more business like than really friendly Transport links are great Andel (yellow line) is 5 mins walk and tram is 50m away, the centre can be reached on foot in 20/25 mins and 10 mins buy tram, this is a great location away from the main tourist areas but easily within reach of the main sights. Supermarket is Tesco at end if street or the big one in Andel 5 mins walk. I'll be back later in the year

Check in at 2pm, 4th floor, digital safe, sloping roof, clean bathroom and bed, shower had very little power, toiletries provided. Breakfast as always was amazing, fried, cooked, continental, plenty of choice and good value, the only downside to breakfast is a lack of seats if the hotel is full and everyone arrives same time. The hotel could do with another lick of paint and a bit of refurbishing, plus it is no longer an all night reception, I think it closes at 8pm or 9pm. Transport links are perfect a tram stop outside and metro 5 mins away, Tesco supermarket 1 min or large one 5 mins

One of the worst hotels I've ever been to. Poor service and rude behavior. Not professional at all. The receptionist didn't care or take into account any concerns. They treated people with disrespect didn't offer any assistance. As for cleanliness was there for 5nights and we didn't have a change of bedsheets or towels. The hand soap wasn't refilled either. 4star hotel more like 1star....

The worst hotel I've ever been to. I have never seen such poor hotel services and more ugly behavior. Not professional at all. The receptionist must have worked as a shepherd before going there. They treated us like animals and it seems they had no appetite for work at all. If I could I would give them a zero. Far from this hotel.

The hotel web advertising looks reasonable, with photos showing a bright modern hotel. In reality, it was not quite like this, The hotel is easy to find, a few paces from the tram stops, so location is excellent. The entrance hall could be renovated. The reception office is smart and clean. The restaurant in the cellar bar is in keeping with the area, and service is friendly and efficient. It seems that many locals also use the cellar bar. Breakfast is ok, a small assor**ent of buffet items, but the room is too small to deal with a large number of guests. Its not easy to get a cup of tea - we mostly got warm water dripped onto a tea bag. The staff on duty try to be friendly and polite, but there is no adequate arrangement for 24 hour cover, or even cover outside office hours. Our room had a very bad smell from the drains. The duty receptionist was not able to call on any assistance. Sensing our problem, I suspect she tried herself to clean the sink and shower. It's good that staff try to solve problems, but perhaps the management could help their staff a little more. The hotel claims to be of four star quality. It does not meet these expectations. But if you need a low cost hotel, convenient for the city centre, but not in the city itself, this might be just the place that would work for you.

Hotel idéalement situé pour faire les visites à pied...calme,propre, petit déjeuner correct et copieux..garage couvert sur réservation...on a pris un repas au restaurant..très bon . Notre chien a même été admis au réfectoire du petit déjeuner (pas autorisé partout)

Siamo arrivati alle 21:20 circa, dopo aver visto su booking che c'era posto (una quadrupla colazione inclusa a 90€) arrivando lì la signora della reception afferma di non avere una quadrupla libera offrendoci due doppie noi abbiamo rifiutato lei ci ha offerto a 90€ una tripla facendo dormire il bambino in mezzo ai genitori nel letto matrimoniale dicendo che era tutto compreso, noi andammo in macchina a prendere i bagagli per la notte. Appena tornati 5 minuti dopo per conferma le chiedemmo se era tutto compreso e lei disse che per la tripla erano comprese 3, non 4 colazioni per la mattina seguente aggiungendo 5€ ai 90€, nonostante lei avesse detto tutto compreso prima del pagamento ha richiesto altri soldi per le tasse.(su booking a 90€ erano incluse tasse e costi aggiuntivi) Allora lei ci disse in modo sgarbato e non rispettoso "Ma quindi la volete o no!" Noi rifiutammo e cene andammo. Lo sconsiglio vivamente

Dès notre arrivée on a réclamé plusieurs problèmes d’humidité ,de saleté, toile d’araignée partout des taches sur les murs partout, meubles cassés, lits non confortables ….. Ils n’ont rien nettoyé avec mauvais comportement , très mal poli, ils se sont même pas excusés concernant de ce désagrément et ils nous ont proposé de changer l’hôtel mais pas de remboursement , à éviter
