Brix Hostel

The most important part of hostel culture is behavior which was the worst at Brix Hostel. The day we reach it was late night around 12 :00 since we were travelling long way and got stuck on our way to Prague. We texted Brix Hostel that we will be late at night and they confirmed it is absolutely ok , also they have 24*7 check in option (not to worry). When we reached the guy at the reception behaved so rudely. He kept on saying it was not the right time to check in ; we mentioned that we were stuck on the road and we also spoke to Brix beforehand. But he kept on behaving very badly. It was quite strange because the other hostels we checked in during the same trip were so welcoming, smiling , cooperating. The room was stinking like hell which we didn't find any the other two hostels. I will not recommend Brix and I will never visit Brix again.

Very cool place, some kind of art hostel. The location is very good, not in the middle of busy center, but only a few minutes walking, it is a green area. They have events at weekends, big bar with music and you can play chess, pool, etc.. Cool place to meet nice people. The staff is so nice.

During the night between Friday 21 Oct and Saturday 22 Oct 2022, I booked a private room at Brix Hostel for 22-23 Oct . I didn't realize that it wasn't possible to check in during night hours, so the (very kind) staff told me to find another place for the night and return to them on phone Saturday 22 Oct. I found another place, and called them at noon 22 Oct. They tell me I shouldn't count on a refund since it is against their policy - which was clear in the booking mail as well. Fair! The staff tell me to send them an email about the details of this case so they can return to me Monday 24 Oct, which I know they have received, because the staff confirmed this. I returned to Brix Hostel at 7 Pm on Saturday 22 Oct to use the room since I was told a refund most likely wasn't possible. Only to find out that they had booked the room to another guest - meaning that I couldn't get a refund, but I couldn't even use the room either. So Brix cancelled a room I've paid full price for. I tell myself that they will refund the price to me by Monday when they return my mail (fingers crossed!). I travel back to my home country on Sunday Oct 23. The following days, I hear nothing from them. They don't return mails or phone calls. A few weeks after, I still haven't heard a word from them meaning that I paid for a room which I was denied access to. Let me stress this: The staff in the phone and in the hostel were super nice and understanding. There has been no bad vibes or irritation in the physical or telephonic dialogue whatsoever between me or the staff. The hostel is very cozy. The thing is the management cannot be trusted and I paid 79 Euros for a room they wouldn't let me use.

I chose this hostel for it’s good location and good commute, and it didn’t disappoint! Also the rooms and beds belt really clean and the staff was so friendly. I stayed in the all girls dorm and felt there was good storage for your stuff and the bed could be made to feel secluded for when you went to sleep. In other words everything you need to feel comfortable!

Habitaciones y cocina sucias. Nuestra habitación era el acceso a otras dos habitaciones por lo que no dejaba de entrar y salir gente dando igual la hora. Lejos del centro La cocina tenia una barra americana con dos taburetes, uno de ellos rotos. Por lo que tuvimos que comer de pie. Una catástrofe de hostel

L'ostello e le stanze davvero arredate molto bene, noi eravamo nell'appartamento privato ed era anche molto grande, funzionale, le zone in comune mi sono piaciute un sacco. Staff accogliente e simpatico, zona non delle più sicure ma comunque molto vicina al tram. Unico lato negativo che ho trovato è la pulizia, nella doccia c'era un nodo di capelli, polvere e una macchia gialla sul materasso, peccato perché l'ostello in se è molto bello.

Super Hostel, Il y a une bonne ambiance, propre, pratique, animé mais les chambres sont au calme. La salle de bain est super propre, la cuisine est fonctionnelle et les lits sont confortables. Le personnel est super 👍🏻👍🏻 Je recommande fortement

Un'autentica scoperta a due passi dal colle Žižkov vi è un bar al piano terra dallo spirito ricercato, elegante e contemporaneamente giovane dal quale si accede al cortile estivo interno attrezzato. I piani superiori sono riservati agli ospiti dell'omonimo ostello, sempre curato nei minimi dettagli; dalla pulizia alla decorazione impeccabili. Il personale costantemente pronto e ben disposto verso gli utenti assicura una permanenza quanto meno gradevole, entro i limiti delle possibilità! I numerosi servizi igienici, disposti 2 a 2 per ciascun piano sono dotati di docce con acqua calda, giornalmente sanificati, garantiscono una permanenza spensierata. Al secondo piano è sita la cucina comune dotata di tutti i comfort; dal piano cottura elettrico all'avanguardia al doppio frigorifero munito di freezer, non manca veramente nulla! L'ultimo piano loggiato, dotato di cucina propria, è costituito da abitazioni con bagno privato di qualità superiore. Un saluto a tutto lo Staff di Brix. Daje forte!!!
