Unfinished conversion of bank offices, into a hotel. The reception is on the 1st floor without an elevator. Baggage transfer from the back of the building, with stairs and going through a maze. The walls were full of dust from works that had been done in the room, metal pieces were missing from the windows which were unpainted, in the bathroom there were not enough hangers for towels and the curtains reached down to the floor... The whole building was a bank office in the past...the signs are still there. They could finish the conversion properly and then accept people!!

I love this hotel in Prato - can take 20 mins train to Firenze SMN station. All facilities are new, provide slippers and flippers! Breakfast can pre-order with discount! All hams and cheese are super, with fresh orange juice. Big room and nice shower place. I will stay with B&B chain hotel next trip. I saw one in Firenze most convenient place to visit the museum and churches.

Struttura nuovissima (inaugurata solo un mese fa) che fa parte della catena alberghiera francese "B&B Hotels" e situata in zona centrale, a poco meno di dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e dal centro storico. La camera era molto carina, silenziosa, ampia e pulita. Ben arredata (anche se forse avrei preferito una maggiore illuminazione) e dotata di finestre, grande tv, comodo letto matrimoniale, frigorifero e aria condizionata. La nostra sistemazione era una superior e, rispetto alla camera standard, aveva come extra due bottigliette di acqua fornite gratuitamente e due ulteriori cuscini. Bel bagno in camera con doccia. Ambienti comuni gradevoli e profumati, con la reception curiosamente collocata al primo piano. Visto anche l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, ci voleva proprio un albergo moderno ed economicamente accessibile a Prato, considerato che si può utilizzare anche come punto di appoggio per Firenze, facilmente raggiungibile in treno. Ai francesi, in questa occasione, bisogna dire soltanto... chapeau!
