If I could give a 3.5 rating I would, as this hotel has a number of positives, but I feel it just falls short of 4 stars. We travelled as a family of four, with two children aged 3 and 4. The pools and water park were fantastic for them, the hotel has a main pool where there is music, activities like water aerobics and polo etc, which also has a small shallow childrens pool too. The main bar is by this pool and serves Keo and Leon beer on draft, a number of local spirits, cocktails which were so so, as well as coffee and ice creams etc. Two minutes up the hill is the water park, which has a large area for younger children with 4 or so smaller slides, our 4 year old loved this area. Then there are number of slides aimed for older children and adults. There is a small bar at the water park which serves soft drinks and ice cream, the lady on this bar was great with our two girls. The area around the water park could use some tlc, it could use some tiles/paint as it just looks a bit basic concrete, but to be fair you're not there for the decor, it's for the slides which are great. The beds around all the pools are hit and miss, some a bit broken bit do the job. If you are late risers during peak weeks you would struggle for a bed around the main pool, but we found there were always beds at the water park and in the afternoon the main pool seemed to have more empty beds. The bins around the pools attract a lot of wasps so if you are near one you may get some unwanted attention, a bit annoying but not much the staff can do, this happens in virtually every hotel in sunnier climates, staff did clear out the bins regularly. I would however say we saw 3-4 cockroaches in the evenings around the main pool and the snack bar building which was closed during our visit. The apar**ent was pleasant, clean and seemed to have been recently updated. We had a sofa bed which turned into a double in the living area. A cot was provided but wasn't needed. There was a small fridge. We were on the ground floor near reception, our balcony overlooked a service area, but we didn't have much time to sit and chill anyway so not a big issue. Location wise, the hotel is around 10 minutes on a bus from Protoras, we went in a couple of times as it was only a few euros each. It is also only 10 or so minutes walk from a number of nice beaches, I would take some beach shoes as although the beaches are sandy, a few steps into the water was quite rocky. The entertainment during the day was good fun, largely this was down to the one lad called Callum who was constantly around the pool area, leading aerobics etc, our two became big fans and he was great with them. The evening entertainment was so so, some bingo, a Michael Jackson impersonator, a singer and a few nights of karaoke. The kids disco was always good fun for our two and the younger kids. The only real disappoin**ent was the food. Breakfast was OK, the usual full English options, porridge, cold meats and cheeses, pancake
