Hotel le Terrazze

We got lucky with this hotel. We needed a hotel with a carpark which is almost non-existant on the Amalfi Coast. Accomodation with balconies and spectacular views, clean rooms, great staff. A small beach with great cafe's and restaurants down 200 steps down (just remember you have to get up those stairs again). You are just a short boat ride or bust trip to the township of Amalfi. I cannot express how much I enjoyed our stay at this place, its not big it is boutique accomodation and worth evey cent. We needed to checkout early in the morning and breakfast would not have been ready so the Manager organised Coffee and breafast to take with us. I was very impressed. I only wish I could have stayed their longer.

This was our second trip to this wonderful hotel. All of the employees were extremely friendly and professional. We loved the very delicious breakfast and evening meals. The front desk team were always willing to assist with each and every request. The owner, Marchello and his family were the perfect host. Looking forward to next year’s visit.

This hotel is something special. Being in Conca dei Marini in the Amalfi Coast of Italy it has a few things that are worth mentioning. A parking place! Maybe not that easy to get in and out, but completely feasible (if you are going to drive in the Amalfi Coast rent the smallest car that can be useful for you. You'll thank me). Second, a beach at walking distance. OK, you have to go down around two hundred steps (and for returning climb back the two hundred steps). We are past seventy, healthy, and could do it without problems. The beach is very nice and you can rent there recliners and an umbrella for shade. There are three beach restaurants and we had lunch twice there and it was good! The beach gets the shadow of the cliff past 2 PM in September, so go in the morning. Wearing something on your feet to get in the water is great because the bottom is stony. The hotel is white and blue, The rooms are white, luminous, clean, simple but comfortable and the bathroom has everything you may need. When you open the shutters that take you to your private terrace you can't believe the beauty. The white walls, the blue sky, the blue sea...The breakfast is excellent. In the evenings you can drink something and have a light snack in the terrace. The staff is amazing. They made as feel as if they knew us for a long time. Monica and her colleagues were incredibly helpful and kind. And you'll see Marcello, the owner working with his staff, waiting tables at breakfast, answering questions at the front desk and supervising everything. If we go again to the Amalfi Coast we won't look elsewhere. Beautiful, charming and comfortable.

Where do we start? The experience pre booking up to current stay was remarkable. We booked with *********** and I had to ask so many questions, the replies were fast and efficient. This really was the best hotel we could have asked for. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The owner and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is very nice and fast service. The staff book, cancel and communicate with restaurants, boat transfers and shuttles. Amazing. If you’ve never been to Amalfi, all i will say (nothing to do with the hotel) is be prepared for the steps and hills. Also if you’re undecided whether to taxi or rent a car…. Taxi all the way. We rented a car and bearing in mind I am a HGV business owner and drive a HGV everyday… these roads are insane. The locals put you under a lot of pressure to drive fast, and I feel very uncomfortable driving these narrow bendy roads. We have had a fantastic time and I would suggest staying at Hotel Le Terrazze.

Our stay here was a dream! The room and bed were cozy, we stayed in a Superior suite and had a terrace with the most incredible view of the coast and Amalfi that I’ve ever seen. We decided to do the wine tasting the hotel had to offer which was 50€ and done by Elsabetta. It was well worth the money! Each wine came with a snack that was paired specifically to it that was so delicious, and Elisabetta was super knowledgeable and so, so friendly. We had many conversations with her through our stay and talking with her was a highlight of our trip! The entire staff was so friendly every morning the team who served us a great complimentary breakfast and the front desk staff helped with navigating buses(which can be tricky!) and making all our dinner reservations. The beach is directly below the hotel, which is a challenge to do that many steps back up but we just would take breaks and it wasn’t so bad! We were so sad to leave when our stay was done I was almost in tears!

This is a quite a gem. Hotel Le Terrazze is run by a wonderful family—Marcello, Emilia and their daughters. They honestly deserve a higher rating than “3-stars” — they all went above and beyond. Coordinating with them prior to the trip was so easy — Stefania and Monica were so responsive to all questions and they were quick to book any car service / excursion we asked for. From check in— Monica was great — super thorough and made sure we had all the information we needed. She so proactive — we’d find ourselves heading out for the day and she would make sure we had everything we needed (I.e bus tickets, time tables, directions etc) The room was great. Clean and spacious and the sea view was absolutely amazing. AC was great too. Terrace was great to spend time in as well— they have a bistro table with two chairs along with two lounge chairs. Housekeeping left two bottles of water each night. The terrace in the common area was a great place to take in the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Starting at 4:30pm you can get drinks and snacks there. The decor all around the hotel was wonderful— mix of Amalfi Coast + things local to Conca dei Marini. The location is phenomenal. The view is amazing (people driving down the highway would stop to take pictures from the entrance). There’s a beach down the steps (hotel le terrazze gives you a heads up when you book it is 230 steps down but it’s really not so bad). You have 3 different restaurant options (Ippocampo has amazing pizzas), can get beach loungers and umbrellas rentals and water taxis to amalfi (10€ per person) and positano (40€ per person) from there. Conca is such a great little town. If you’re coming peak season July/August, I’d warn you it’s tough getting around purely by bus outside of Conca. Luckily there’s a ton of hidden gems around the town and Hotel Le Terrazze does a great job in highlighting some of them. You can feel the blood, sweat, and tears Marcello, family and staff painstakingly put into making sure their guests feel welcome and have a great stay. It was truly memorable — we hope to come back soon a hope if you’re reading this you’re convinced to book a room already :)

Grazie Mille!!! Amazing place up the Sorrento hills but close to the main Sorrento piazza with a free and frequent shuttle bus. Aurora, Daniello, Carmine and Giovanni will keep you well looked after and serve the best espresso and croissants in Sorrento. Room plenty large enough for a family of 5 with a small kitchenette and a large terrace. A perfect pool for the kids to cool off in in the afternoon. Grazie Mille!!!

Beutifull hotel with a beutifull view great breakfast .everything super clean and great staff listening to every request and help with everything to make an unforgettable vacation The hotel is well designed nice and feel like a family place Thank you marchers Emilia and stefania

Very romantic place, but not only: incredibly well located, very clean with super friendly staff, ready to give you all needed information to enjoy your stay ether within the property premises or in the nearby attractions such as “il fiordo di furore”. Highly recommended.
