Inn at Cook Street

Spencer is the best. From his warm and sincere welcome to his gracious attention to detail, you will feel at home. Beautifully appointed room, ample seating areas, gorgeous garden and fabulous breakfasts to round out the most delightful weekend. His deep dish blueberry pancake was divine! The location to restaurants and shops was perfect! Highly recommend.

The Inn at Cook Street was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect - super close to the ocean and Commercial Street. The building itself is immaculate and adorable (don’t miss out on sitting by the koi pond to read and/or nap). Spencer is an amazing host - he made us feel so welcome and the breakfasts he cooks are to die for. The room we had (the Writer’s Room) was very comfortable and charming. Hoping we can get back to stay again soon.

I highly recommend the Inn and Cook St. and look forward to staying there again, soon! During our stay we found our rooms to be impeccably clean and tidy while still being warm and welcoming. Our king bed and the accompanying linens were very comfortable and the entire Inn was incredibly quiet despite being literal steps away from Commercial street and the gallery district. Now that I have those things out of the way, there are two big reasons why The Inn at Cook Street is a must stay. First, the property is so lovingly maintained that it's hard to not feel as though you've arrived (at a cleaner, more stylish, version of) home the second you step onto the crushed oyster shell walkway. There's a lovely lawn area with chairs in which you can sit and listen to the small koi pond waterfall. Second, if you're like me and enjoy being around people who are truly excellent at their work, then you'll appreciate the owner, Spencer, who is both gifted and works incredibly hard at the skill of hospitality. He's got an eye for detail, logistics, and genuinely wants everyone to enjoy themselves thoroughly on their vacation. The breakfast served in the dining room was fantastic and Spencer worked hard to meet our dietary restrictions and allergies. It's not an exaggeration to say that the three breakfasts we had there (with fresh local asparagus, cranberry juice, and pea shoots) were the best vegetarian breakfasts we'd had in years.

One of the best Holiday-Locations one can dream of! Warm welcoming atmosphere thanks to Spencer and Talullah! The Location is perfect: within walking distance from P-Towns Center, but far enough from there for quiet peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was to die for (Spencer also considered dietary constrictions)! Spencer also went out of his way to secure a table at one of the best dining spots in P-Town, when there were no reservations open to make a special day even more great! Big plus also: a parking space - in P-Town not a given. Room was comfortable, open, bright, clean and even had a fireplace! Thank you Spencer for a great time!

This was our 3rd time staying at this charming and incredibly special Provincetown Inn. The comfortable, unique rooms and gorgeous setting with beautiful gardens, sitting areas, and even a koi pond are just minutes away from the ocean and the vibrant goings-on in town. The inn's location is so convenient while offering a tranquil and quiet place to relax and unwind away from the crowds. We love that! Spencer, the innkeeper, makes every guest feel so welcome and cared for throughout their stay. His genuine desire to make your experience wonderful and memorable is always evident. He clearly loves and takes great pride in running a consistently highly rated inn. In all our travels, he is our very favorite host. His warm, friendly, positive spirit makes you feel right at home. He is ready to help or offer advice anytime but also gives his guests as much privacy as they want. I can't forget to mention Spencer's creatively and deliciously prepared 3 course breakfasts that are out of this world and deserve all the praises shared by other guests in their enthusiastic reviews. It's all so true!

It was our first visit to Ptown and we certainly picked the right BnB. Excellent room, bed and bathroom with cleaning every day. Lovely grounds and a convenient walk to downtown. The highlight of course was Spencer. He is a charming host and very interesting to chat with. He is also an excellent chef, delighting us with a different, creative multi-course breakfast each day and a cookie with tea or coffee in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

High-quality inn. The breakfasts prepared by Spencer are truly delicious meals. Just for them and the friendly Spencer, one feels like extending their stay! We will come back next year. Et en français, c'est pareil : des petits déjeuners hors du commun !!!

Spent several nights at this lovely B&B on a return visit to Ptown. Spencer is the perfect host, making everyone feel welcome and preparing the most wonderful breakfasts for his guests! Close to town and absolutely worth a visit. Make it a point to say hello to his pup Tallulah. She’s a charmer!

This is a lovely little inn! Comfy beds, tastefully decorated, with gorgeous landscaping and a semi-private outdoor area with a koi pond. It has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Spencer was sweet and thoughtful and made an amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients. One of the best experiences we've had!
