Hotel Vistamar - Adults Recommended - by Pierre & Vacances

It was overall a very nice stay until the last day. For some reason my bed sheet wasn’t changed since I spotted a stain I saw the day before and my hair was still on the bed. It looked like the housekeeper only made the bed without changing the bed sheets. Also my toilet wasn’t cleaned either and it started to smell really bad after the day 2. There is no way of contacting the reception desk from the room and it is way too inconvenient as the building I was staying was 1 min walk from the main building and there was no elevator. The reception desk ladies were super friendly and helpful though. Swimming pool, bar and breakfast were quite nice and hotel is located right in front of the sea so I could definitely enjoy the view from the balcony. I do recommend it but just be needy and get your rooms cleaned properly 🤣

Hôtel très propres, personnels très accueillant et à l’écoute. Ménage des chambres fait tous les jours. Buffet du petit déjeuner bon et varié. Place de parking autour de l’hôtel. Quelque cala au alentour de l’hôtel à une 15 minutes. Environnement calme. Je recommande

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bien. Chambre : très basique, il manquait plusieurs choses tels que bouilloire, machine à café, coffre (payant!)… Petit déjeuner : très ordinaire

I understand places are still getting back on their feet after the pandemic, but this place wasn't cheap and we expected a little more for the price and the 4 star rating mainly in the category of food and dining experience. Good 3 star at most in my opinion. We got our room request that we made when booking which we were pleased with and the staff were nice. The view (fabulous) and room decoration and the decoration in lobby/reception warrant its 4 stars but facilities worth 3 stars. The gym is old and not air conditioned, there wasn't even one treadmill. Not that everyone goes on holiday to go to gym but ratings are given according to facilities. The pool toilets and outdoor restaurant toilets are old and nothing to dry hands on. Ashtrays at pool entrance at outside at entrance to reception not emptied and stunk when you walked past. The food choices were just adequate and for us only worth 3 star rating as choices were too limited. At the station where a chef cooks from scratch, there was a wait for them to appear until a queue formed. One evening he did not cook the salmon thoroughly and we had to leave almost the whole meal because it wasn't cooked in the middle. We did not complain but the lead waitress noticed when she walked past and told us it wasn't adequately cooked and she would speak to the chef. Pool bar cocktails not worth nearly 10 euros, go up the hill to the other bars, you get much better drinks for less. I don't think most 4 star hotels would expect you to eat breakfast and dinner on uncomfortable garden furniture, sometimes without cushions and tables that wobble.

We have just returned after staying at the Vistamar for a week B&B. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and the view you get of the harbour when you’re having your brekky is as good as it gets. 2 lovely pools one having a bar where you can get drinks and snacks. Great little gym if you want to get a sweat on and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but they are cleaned every day and towels swopped every other, we also got a beautiful view of the bay to wake up to. Breakfast is buffet style with everything you could want, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, bacon, all the usual brekky stuff. What more can you want from a hotel, it’s lovely. You’ve chosen to stay in a large hotel with many other guests, it won’t be silent, if that’s what you want or need, rent a villa. We will defo be back, thanks for an amazing holiday.

The Hotel and the staff are lovely. Very friendly especially John in the pool bar. The food at the pool bar and the buffet was very nice, a good selection of choices. If you are looking for a really quiet relaxing holiday, this is it. Fantastic pool area, with a beautiful swimming pool, exceptionally clean.

The service in the hotel is lovely, Fabiana is an absolute credit, so sweet and patient whilst I practiced my dodgy Spanish! However, that is sort of where it stops..... No indoor pool, no spa, no Turkish bath, no sauna, no lobby bar... All advertised as available yet not so. It's a disappointment that OnTheBeach sold us something that wasn't as advertised. It doesn't take away from the lovely staff, but buyer beware.

Nice clean facilities. Can be noisy in the building sometimes due to echos. Breakfast was a good mixture of fruit meats and pastries. Great pools and fully stocked bar. Hotel has a gym. Very Friendly staff. Late checkout was available for €15 Would recommend.
