Vigilia Park

Il top dell’hotel é senz’altro la reception!! Cordiali e solari i due italiani li ubicati! La pecca in assoluto più grande é il fatto che la piscina sul terrazzo e tutto il resto chiuda alle 19 , cosa che non permette di ammirare il bellissimo tramonto ! Bisognerebbe sfruttare i punti di forza non demolirli!

Had a week away with friends and really liked our stay. Town is lovely and small and had a great coast walk and right next to Los Gigantas so views are amazing from the apartments. Apartments are clean, and ours (147) had 2 balconies. Basic kitchen but had all we needed and clean towels and bedding and cleaning every 2 days. Staff were very friendly and both pool/deck areas were nice. Just be aware some apartments have 2 floors and a spiral staircase, so may not be suitable for anyone with small kids or mobility issues so check before you book. Would stay again and so close to shops and restaurants too. Carpark over the road which does weekly parking rates that are very reasonable.

Do not listen to the negative reviews! It was an amazing experience for me and my family, lovely apartments (158 sea view👌) helpful staff and everything on your doorstep whether you like self catering or experiencing more local foods. Apartments cleaned pretty much every day at your discretion. Big shout out to the life guards (especially the one who worked Mon-Thurs recently) he was so attentive, rescuing us from all sorts of situations, figuring out getting in the building (our fault) umbrella malfunctions, kids dropping goggles in the middle of the pool, my youngest getting herself locked in the toilet! 🙄 he was truly amazing all the time and trusted him watching over the kids in the pool 100 % amazing place, great value and would love to go back.

Clean and modern rooms, strange pool opening times 1100hrs - 1900hrs which was terrible and not really acceptable. TV didn't have reception for most of the week. Closed one of the pools for a day without notice and the other is closing for 2monthstomorrow 08/04/24. Will book elsewhere next time

Just stayed at Vigilia park, fantastic view, fantastic apartment , fantastic surrounding area. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. Pool was heated so could swim everyday. Can’t wait to return. Lidl 3 min walk away, taxis and buses outside, this place is a real hidden gem, but make sure you book a seaview.

We had the best holiday whilst staying at Vigilia Park! The view from our apartment was just the best ever! Best 2 bed apartment we have ever stayed in too. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was decent. Handy for local supermarket, beach, bars & restaurants. Wish we were still there!

Everything you need in the apartment but the hairdryer is mega slow! The shower head was loose but was fixed very quickly. Reception lady is nice. The man on over night doesn’t speak much English but he managed to guide me to a 24 hour store (we arrived at 1 am in need of water for the room). Very clean and spacious. No AC but the ceiling fans in lounge and bedroom do a good job for this time of year. There is a terrace at the top of the building with a bathing area, small pool and bar. Ping pong, crazy golf and small kids area. The kids I saw looked to be having a great time! Breakfast is good, €9 and is typically Spanish breakfast buffet. However, in the same complex in the walkway there is a lovely little cafe called scooby’s, serving English breakfast that’s it fab with a great lady host. There is a a lovely pizza cafe too off the complex. The street at the left of the apartments, straight to the end. People queue to get a seat it’s that good! 2 pizza, 2 half litre wine. €24 … bargin. And nice staff!

Absolutely terrible facilities. Do NOT visit! - Facilities are in bad condition and need serious upgrade - Cleaning is poor - Pictures of the place are highly misleading - Pools are VERY dirty - Strange pool rules, even by the kid’s pool children are not allowed to play with various pool toys - Personnel do not have customer focus - WIFI is useless. Very bad connection which by the way must be purchased additionally Found old blood stains on the “clean” sheets and room was not properly cleaned. Went to the reception to address the issue and had to argue with the receptionist, who did not seam one bit concerned by the situation. Cleaning is not done on daily basis and there are no pool/beach towels. Either you have to use the same towels as for the showering or purchase towels in the local stores. The pools are the worst part and are shockingly dirty. Just by looking at the water you clearly see lot of dirt in the water. On day three, I addressed something looking like feces in the kids pool to the lifeguard who simply tried to remove it with a pool net and actually making it worse. I could not believe it. I asked if they do not need to close the pool and do a thorough cleaning? The pool was not closed. A facility guy came and took some pictures and claimed that what I saw in the pool came from birds. Should that be okay than?! This is serious health risk. I asked how often the pools are cleaned. Daily was the answer and there is a log as documentation. He offered to show me the log. I accepted – never saw the log. Surprise… No wander our children got sick and throwing up all night from being in the pools! I am amazed this place is allowed to operate. Never again.
