Blue Osa Beach Resort & Spa

I love being at Blue Osa! This was my third trip. The jungle gardens are beautiful. Lots of birds to see. I swam in the pool every day, walked on the beach, and practiced yoga. The food is fresh and delicious. I can not say enough about Aaron (the owner) and the people who work there. They are helpful, gracious, and kind.

I attended the May, 2024 200 hour YTT course. The course touched on several aspects of yoga including asanas, pranayama, meditation, chanting, and teaching methodology. Aaron thoroughly explained the anatomical aspects of each asana as well as incorporating muscle activation. He also covered the historical and practical bases for all the aspects of yoga we studied. Outside of class, the assigned books, videos, and worksheets all offered a deeper dive into the various aspects of yoga listed above. This course went as deep as possible in a 200 hour YTT course. The food was organic and simple but delicious. The staff was wonderful and the facility itself is beautiful. Last, Aaron was warm and welcoming, and his love of yoga was apparent. He did not take himself seriously, and he made the hard work and long days enjoyable. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to put in the time and effort to deepen their practice and/or teach.

Blue Osa feels like home away from home. I was part of a YTT 300. It was my 3 rd time back. Yogi Aaron runs a great YTT. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. The staff is so lovely and friendly. They go above and beyond. The food and kitchen crew are amazing. The rooms, the location. Every day sunny or rainy is so beautiful at Blue Osa. I wish I had a returning flight already booked. Missing everything about here!

If you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, I highly recommend exploring the OSA peninsula. Staying at Blue Osa for a one week yoga retreat was transformative in so many ways. All of your senses will be activated in a wondrous way as you’re surrounded by the enchanted rainforest. Sunrise was my favorite time of the day; waking up to the howler monkeys, floating in the Pacific Ocean during the tranquil golden hour and the watching pairs of macaws in flight and landing on the wild almond trees on the resort for a snack. The Blue Osa is a well maintained and pristine resort with beautiful accommodations, top notch spa services, breathtaking views, plus delicious and healthy food prepared and presented with love. The customer service felt like family members caring for us. All of the excursions offered were unique experiences filled with excitement and a connection with Costa Rica to understand the true meaning of Pura Vida 🇨🇷

Went to Blue Osa for a week long yoga retreat. The food was so fresh and delicious, no surprises. There is a connection with the food and every meal has a story. The spa services were great plenty of options from facials to wraps. The options for excursions were endless and there was something for everyone. Waking to howling monkeys and hearing the macaw fly by is something that can only be experienced at Blue Osa. Make sure you bring reading materials when lounging by the pool. Take a walk on the beach and see the sunrise

We took our annual girls trip (grandma, mom, daughter) to Blue Osa this month. It was fantastic! The grounds are gorgeous, the food is superb, and the staff are absolutely the best! We booked the spa package and got pampered with facials and scrubs and massages. Enjoyed walking on the beach, swimming in the pool, yoga classes, hiking and photographing all the monkeys playing in the trees. Then we went zip lining through the rainforest and horseback riding, too! It was an awesome experience!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Blue Osa! I brought a family member with me this time, and it was an incredible experience. There was much peace and self growth I walked away with during my time here. We did so many fun activities, as well as relaxed and refreshed. The staff and guides were so helpful and nice! The food is amazing, and you really get an authentic Costa Rican experience here. It will always have a place in my heart. I will definitely come back again I hope! :)

Blue Osa is Paradise! I had such a relaxing, transformative and spiritual time here. The staff were all so friendly, I felt genuinely cared for every moment. The spa experiences were great as well. The private beach, the wildlife, the pool, the flowers, it was all just a dream. I hope I have the opportunity to come back very soon!
