Morasol Suites

Stayed from May 9th for 11 nights. Firstly a lovely location, central to the beach, shops & bars but situated looking over the Marina so both quiet & pretty. We stayed at Marina Suits, next door last year but definitely preferred the Marasol Suits. Amazing, friendly staff who moved us on request to a pool room & could not have been more accommodating. Our room was clean as are all the facilities and we had a fabulous holiday so much so, we’ve rebooked for August & can’t wait

Brilliant hotel with brilliant staff in a perfect location overlooking the marina. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which had plenty of room and was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Staff always happy to help and very friendly including arranging for us to keep the room on until 4pm on day of departure for €25 which was well worth it. Large bottle of water for €2 from reception saves you carrying it from supermarkets. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed next door at Marina suites and often thought that Morosol looks very welcoming and clean! Small and friendly! So I booked a stay with friends, this year at Morosol and the price is better than Marina suites too.... so why not! The first thing we noticed is the cleanliness. Throughout the hotel is so clean. The staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble . There is no entertainment, which may bother some but not us....we went out to some of the many fantastic bars and restaurants most evenings. El rinconcito, just over the road is amazing (see my other review). I.love puerto rico. Marina suites and The morosol ate hard to beat. The location, unlike many hotels, is flat, level and easy to access. Right on the Marina, overlooking boats and the sea, it's perfect. The pool is so inviting and we enjoyed it everyday. It wasn't too cold either! Wear sunscreen .... properly! It gets hot and the uv rays are strong even when it is cooler. Beds are comfy. Rooms spacious. All you need for self catering is available . Towels for the pool beds are available to hire with a deposit which is refundable. My only regret is that I forgot to buy one when I left, as they are available to buy also. They were great. I hope to return and buy one, one day ! Water is available to top up your water bottle in reception....so think of the environment and take tour own bottle! I recommend the lineas bluebird ferry. Any of their trips are great but you cannot visit GC without going to Puerto Mogan . It's a must! Get the local bus to Maspalomas and meloneras and see the dunes....another must. Local transport is very reliable, cheap and so easy! I love Gran canaria. I have holidayed there for decades and Will continue to do so! Enjoy. Christine Room.121. 1-8april.24

Our first visit and The staff were excellent David who welcomed us late at night was a star explained everything. Pool nice and quiet just as we like it, excellent location, cleaning ladies were great loved the extra touches of styled towels, only down side was felt our room was in need of some TLC some plug and light fittings hanging loose, bedding and furniture was quite old and no work top to prepare food , but on a big plus side we emailed before our visit to request a ground floor and that was facilitated which was much appreciated. We hope to be back next year to refurbished rooms.

Yet again Morasol Suites delivers everything we have come to expect from our many visits. Reception staff are extremely helpful especially Cindy and Monica. Rooms are spacious and spotless clean. The pool is excellent however the solarium is fantastic. Location of Morasol is excellent being close to marina and beach. Commercial Centre and Mogán Mall a short 10/15 min walk. We will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Morasol suites. Clean, tidy, friendly people. I can't wait to go back to gran canria and definitely will be staying here.

My husband and I travelled with friends to this hotel which we had stayed in about 4 times previously. We asked for rooms close together and near the pool on the lower ground and as usual our request was attended to. Our rooms were only 6 doors away from each other. The hotel is brilliantly situated next to the marina and is flat so suitable for people with walking difficulties. This hotel is so clean and tidy in all areas and the staff are all brilliant. It is good to see the same friendly staff year on year. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Receptionist David was very welcoming as we arrived late at night and during our stay we saw other receptionists that were equally friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The staff in the pool bar were great, we frequented the bar most lunches for happy hour!! The pool itself is immaculately clean with very friendly life guards attentive all day until 6pm in the evening. The cleaning staff were meticulous in their attention to detail, we really cannot praise this hotel high enough. Whilst there I had a situation I needed help with, again the staff sorted it for me and even checked days later if all was OK, especially Eleanor who couldn’t be more caring. Just back from a week at the Morasole suits, we had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Staff are all very helpful and happy. Food at the pool bar is reasonably priced and very nice. Rooms are big and the new balcony chairs look great and are very comfortable. Great pool and roof terrace all very relaxing Location is great, close to everything and not up in the hills which is a major plus. We’ve just cancelled our holiday to Kos and re booked the Moralsol suits for this August.

We’ve just spent a fantastic week at the Morasol Suites as a family of 3. We opted for a family room which was well worth the extra money. The hotel in public areas is very well maintained. Main pool area is super clean with comfy beds. Pool towels can be hired from reception. There is also a roof top area with a jacuzzi, again, clean and comfortable beds. Staff are all lovely, cleaners daily who do a great job and reception staff very knowledgeable and try and accommodate all requests. Rooms are a good size with lovely views of the marina. There is a road outside the hotel but not busy or distracting. All basic pots, pans, plates, bowls etc. My only reason for loosing a star, rooms are a bit tired. Out sofa was stained quiet badly, grouting in the bathroom needed re doing, painting in places cracked and bubbled. The air conditioning is very poor, in fact couldn’t really feel it at all. I’d suggest opting for a top floor room. We had some very annoying kids above us running up and down their room from 6am, parents obviously giving no consideration to people below them. I know this isn’t the hotels fault and this only happened the day before we went home so no point is making a deal of it. I’d absolutely come back again. Well done to the hotel and staff, keep up the good work and high standards.
