Some good, some bad.
Staff is wonderful! The food I was able to sample was delicious and well prepared. A lot of Mexican style dishes that are delicious. It's a very NOISY resort. Constant bingo games, pool games with extremely loud whistle's blowing and more. There is never any peace and quiet, speakers hang everywhere . You can't escape the constant loud, club style music, except early mornings. They discriminate against solo travelers! 3 mornings in a row I called down to make reservations to the 2 restaurants that require them. After telling the agent that it was for one person I was told the earliest seating was 9p each time.
That sounded suspicious so I went downstairs and called from a house phone about 5 minutes later and got the same agent and told her it was for 4 people and got a 6p reservation. However, when I showed up for my reservation they tried to sit me with a couple that had two extra chairs. When I asked to have my own table they said no, they were reserved.
I left and did not get to experience any of the restaurants during my stay that required reservations. I get trying to maximize the tables but it is unfair to those traveling alone requiring them to wait until 9pm to eat.
My room did not have a bathroom mirror. Hard to believe I know, but it's true. It also did not have a safe.
It was a nice gesture from front desk to allow me to utilize the all inclusive benefits even after checking out until my pickup to the airport later in the afternoon.
