Worst hotel ever! Avoid this place at all cost, I’m sure their positive reviews are paid. Very old and unmaintained hotel, smells like sewage, the elevators didn’t work half of the day so travelling with people with limited mobility is a nightmare. Cockroaches on the bed and closets. My sister got bites of what we are thinking are bedbugs, showers are rusty and old, food is very mediocre, service is very bad. The checkout and checkin process is very slow and they don’t have enough air or fans to bear the hot on the lobby. The ac in the room never worked so it was a nightmare to sleep. The walls on the bars and restaurants are full of humidity and I can keep writing but you got my point…

We have been here several times before. It is sad they have done nothing to the property in years, peeling paint, the pool needs work, the "hot Tub" is Luke warm and they don't always turn on the jets, they never cleaned the pool area. Landscaping used to be much better. The room was right on the beach but the walls had mildew, the patio door latch was broken, furniture was well worn ,the bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioner blew right on it droning all the time to keep the room somewhat cool and the bathroom was a disaster. The shower had a 2 foot step up and the shower head hit mid chest, slick tile and the sink faucet had to be played with to shut off and the toilet seat was loose, very poor lighting. Maid service was spotty sometimes you got it other times not. They have taken out all the phones and you need the app to reach the front desk. Staff has been cut and most times there was only one bartender at any of the bars. They had a soap party on Friday at the pool other than that there was no pool entertainment. The food had really gone down hill. frozen fish in some sort of goop, fatty pork ribs and some sort of stew, that's it for lunch and dinner. The pool side burgers are dry, small and not all beef. Deserts, don't bother. The specialty restaurants are just as bad, burnt shrimp, over cooked chicken that couldn't be cut with a knife and fatty pork. Very little beef, in fact the only good thing we had was French onion soup. Be prepared to go out to eat a lot. Yes they water down the drinks, a lot and if you ask for just a shot I comes from a different bottle on the shelf. Service is lacking due to staff cuts. We used to enjoy Crown Paradise but this will be our last time here.

Fantastic experience! Was wary because of negative reviews, so let’s share our positives! Friendly helpful staff. Food~very good and lots to choose from. Awesome location. Easy access to wherever you want to go. This is Mexico~enjoy the culture! The families around are a joy. It’s a beach resort, so a bit of sand may get trekked in, but is quickly cleaned. The place is kept very clean. Thankyou Crown Paradise Club!

The kids enjoyed the pools and kids club a lot. The air conditioners did not work well and we had a hard time sleeping in our room. They did switch us rooms and it was a bit better but I’ve never stayed in a resort where the AC did not work very well in the rooms. The food in the buffet was not good. I know at most all inclusives the food often isn’t good but this was the worst experience I had with food. The line to get in the buffet was very very long. There should be a second one for how many people there are in this resort at a time. The service was not good in the buffet and we were often getting our own drinks and cutlery. The staff did try very hard though. The staff were overall attentive and caring. My kids really enjoyed the kids club, and pools. They had a good stay.
