This is definitely not a 5 star resort. (3 star at best)
Rooms are dated, not well maintained. Bathroom has black mold and needs lots of regrouting.
We switched our first room on our first day because it smelled like moldy odor. We went to our second room and realized that it's not that first room, it is everywhere. Dust between the beds, filter for A/C is full of dust and hasn't been replaced for who knows how long, so we kept our balcony door wide open all day and night. 2nd floor rooms didn't have an elevator so we had to carry our 3rd child with the stroller every day up and down. We have three small children and the place is just not in a good condition.
Food was average but not that bad. Drinks okay (mostly pre-made). This is one of those resorts where you need to wake up very early to ''claim'' your beach and pool chair if you want to have the place to hang out throughout the day. The 'a la Carte' restaurants for the dinner are a mess because their app for reservation doesn't work. When you make a reservation on their app it gives you times between 18.00 and 19.30 (for example), we showed up once at 19.00 and they didn't let us in. The hostess was very rude to us, her name was Marianelli (French rest.) and manager who was not able to fix the obvious mistake by them (Maria). After that we decided to eat only at a buffet, which honestly was the best decision for multiple reasons. Entertainment for kids is great though (especially miss Klara and muss Sugar).

The individual staff members were fantastic, friendly and helpful. ******* staff are phenomenal. The rooms had multiple large cockroaches, broken glass on the walkways into the rooms, housekeeping inconsistent with long delays in service for things as simple as towels. When rooms were cleaned each day, sometimes we got towels, sometimes we got our bed made, never both, and not always. The pharmacy was VERY expensive. $21 for 10 Tylenol. Service at bars and restaurants was VERY slow. Up to 30min to get a drink at times. Resort was horribly understaffed. The concierge were pushy salesman roping us into killing half of one of our days with a sales pitch for a time share.
Overall, Grand Sirenis was just mid. Will not return. Special thanks to Edward and Filipe for outstanding drinks, fun and service at The Mixology bar.

The staff was very sweet and helpful. We felt safe and really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have was the food. I would rate overall a 5/10. Some of the restaurants were better than others. Drinks were good and the pool/beach areas were clean.

The water is very close and the almost all the staff. Didn’t like the closing rule for the restaurant that specifically close rules and is not true completely and in addition the food in the buffet is cold.

The best part about this place was the huge beach, tons of space, sun and shade. The experience would have been much better if it weren’t for the rude staff. I’ve been to many resorts and this was the first time I felt l was an inconvenience (when booking reservations w concierge, ordering drinks at the bar, greeted by the hosts at the buffets ). there were a few standouts but many were unfriendly, seemingly unhappy and I just felt like a bother. The food, cleanliness ans grounds were all ok. But the interaction with the staff didn’t make for a great experience. I wouldn’t go back

The property was beautiful. Unfortunately we got there and they had our booking for 4 adults and 4 kids. Grand Sirenis told me we booked for 4 infants and charged me an extra $3000. I had all the kids ages in and my confirmation email said 4 kids. I literally would of asked for cribs not double beds.check in took over 3 hours after along travel day with no eating. Everyone who promised they would look into it didn't. It really ruined very stressful week. The pools and beach were bebeautiful. Food was decent when it wasn't cold. Lots of variety to choose from.Hibachi was our favorite loved the show. We saw one entertainment show and it wasn't for us. It was not the mj or the other show everyone recommend. We left early in morning each day and our room was not cleaned everyday. Our room was outdated with rust stains. We did find few bugs here and there. The doctor at the onsite clinic wad very nice. We loved getting our hair braided which was only $5 a braid. My father has severe problems walking these days and when we asked for golf cart they would either give excuses, we would have to call quite a few times or some would help no problem. The property it self was beaufiful loved the grounds. The waterpark needs massive renovation or someone will get very hurt. My kids went on it & hurt back. My 9 year old got sich rug burns on his elbows he was bleeding & only wanted to leave we didn't go back all week. The kids love water parks &was very disappointed. We will not go back

Great overall. Beautiful beach. Wish there was more service like waitstaff at pool and beach. Ana in the dining room was awesome! Rooms a little small.

My family and I had the best vacation! We will be back! The staff was fantastic the grounds were clean the food was great! So much to do!
