Jewel Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort

Very clean property, grounds are well maintained. The beach is also clean, however it is not very much room for lounging in the shade. There is not many Cabanas on the beach so you have to roast in the sun. The swim up pools bars are awesome, however ALL of the mixed drinks throughout to property are more sugar than alcohol. The food at the buffet restaurant needs improvement. It seems like the food sits out too long before being replaced and a better selection needs to be offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet certainly needs an overhaul. The Hibachi, Mexican and Steak restaurants are very good. The only restaurant that requires reservations is the Hibachi restaurant. There is a 24-hour cafe on the property that offer finger foods, ice cream, coffee, pastries, fruit and non alcoholic beverages. There is a restaurant on the beach that is also recommendable that offers burgers, fries, pizza, cheese nachos and grilled chicken with a bar that offer mixed drinks. The rooms seem to have veen freshly renovated, they are very spacious and clean, however the only concern I had was mosquitoes in the room. I had to call room service to come spray the room for mosquitoes a couple of times. Property was not bad and I do recommend it, however I've been to better all inclusive properties in the area.

I was here for business and therefore didn't have input in choosing the location. I've stayed at a Dreams before. My thought is the same for both locations in that people are spending a lot of money on mediocre food and old rooms. All restaurants are not all open every night for dinner. This means you could wait over an hour to eat depending on what time you go to dinner. The buffet has a variety of foods but the restaurants have a limited menu. The quality of that food varies. We had VERY pink burgers at the grill but a great burger from room service. We had a bad pasta dish with canned chicken in it but we also had a great chicken parm from the same restaurant. The rooms need work. The chain had been ripped off our door and not replaced. The wall sockets are so worn out that plugs fall out. The shower head was being held up by electrical tape. The TV was grainy. One of our sinks didn't drain. The decorative pillows on the bed were stained. I don't think the place is dirty, but it does need updating. There are rules posted that you can't save chairs by the pool. Every morning you see people saving chairs. Some of these chairs have items and no people for HOURS. I wish they'd follow through with the threat of removing items being used to save chairs. The beach is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. We wished the thermostat went lower.

Amazing resort for family vacation , right next to reception area they have this huge theater where most of night activity take place, shows are well planned and by skilled performers. Unfortunately people tend to reserve their seats too long before curtains open, they simply leave sleepers/shoes or any items on seats for 3 hours unattended and assume it is their place , and some even come an hour late to the show, the management does not do anything about it . They have one of the longest swimming pools I’ve ever seen all the way across the resorts and ends with a pool bar at the beach, some day activity happens by the pool bar. Regular rooms are super small we got an upgrade and we were happy with it . They have a nice kids center with busy activities highly recommended, at least try it , one kid was aggressive towards others and he was banned from the center. There was 2 stores across from the cafe is the reception area ( ground floor) I visited this place with my son for the first 4 days as my soon was hesitant on what item he can buy at a souvenir, so I got very familiar with prices there, on day 5 they dropped a flyer about 40% discount ( great),except that knowing the prices before , when we went on day 5th all of sudden prices changed overnight to higher prices which mas the discount in reality only 6 % at its best. People thought they were really buying discounted goods , I call it a scam . On the other hand the cloths store that was separated from the gift shop was decent with good prices. One annoying thing was one of the Resturant was only for adults ( why have adult Resturant in a family resort ) . Overall the staff was very nice , knowledgeable, courteous and lovely. Don’t buy from the gift shop, offers/ coupons for massage and tours have 100 exceptions and a way of luring you there to buy , theming about arranging your own tours using different companies . One example use the hotel services for airport transportation was 50$ more than just use anyone in the airport.

Just arrived back from this resort. We had a blast the hotel was so clean, staff happy friendly and their uniforms immaculate. The entertainment team were amazing constantly working hard to get everyone together and amazing dancing. The themed lunches were lovely and made a change from the Buffett area. The bar teams also worked hard and special shout out to Eddy in the Rendezvous bar area and Alex and Marcos at the swim up bar.

I’ve had so much fun at this resort. The pool is amazing and the food has been amazing. The entertainment was beyond expecatation. The crew went out of their way to make everyone have a good time. Chocolate (his name) went well above and beyond to make our experience great.

It was a very good Service. The people are very nice and frandly. The hotel was very clean any time and any where. Ouer family holidays were very nice. I will thanks by the houl Team from the hotel dream.

The resort was amazing. The staff truly did make the trip more memorable. They provided great service, entertainment, and were very personable. Our favorite workers were Mr. Wonderful, Drisline, Maximilano, Calvin, Coca Cola, Genesis, Euclides, and Robert.

What a beautiful place! Not a piece of paper on the ground and an incredible, always-smiling staff. Especially a great big Thank you! to Felix Ramirez at the front desk. Felix, you are a rock-star of empathy, positive attitude and helpfulness. Most of the food at the private restaurants is underwhelming and not worth the wait. Carnivale buffet is a better choice. The only exception is the BlueWater Grill for great short ribs and ribeye. In the world of tours, do NOT miss the Monkey Jungle tour. It was great. Sign up at the Amstar travel desk. Worth every penny!!

Had a great time overall! The property is gorgeous and everyone is very friendly. The long windy pool is amazing. A few people I would like to mention: At Bar Interlude, Yudeter, Gireles, Dolores, and Yofreisy were wonderful-they remembered our orders and always came quickly. Our butler, Roberto was amazing as well! He really went above and beyond for us and managed to make our time at the resort super relaxing. The adults only club and sports bar were also super fun. A few points for improvement: 1) I think that the food could be greatly improved-it did not have much taste to it. Also, the portions were super small at the restaurants so make sure you order 2 entrees. 2) We came in a group of six (3 rooms each) and 2 of the rooms' showers went from super hot to cold during the shower, so the plumbing needs to be fixed. One of the phones was not working either. Overall a great time!
