Great rooms and beds. Lots of sitting area. Jolanta is a wonderful host who helped us find our way around the old town. Excellent location. Within easy walk of dozens of restaurants, the chateau Frontenac, the funicular, etc. Nice breakfast with homemade sweet breads, toast, yogurt, cereal etc.

This property is very conveniently situated for Quebec Old Town in a quiet street. It is full of character and French charm. The landlady was extremely welcoming and helpful - assisting us up the stairs with our luggage and allowing us to retain our baggage at the property, on the day of leaving, until our taxi, which she had organised, arrived. My wife and I stayed in sixteen properties during our month in Canada and we agreed that this was the best. The breakfast room, where we were also able to help ourselves to coffee, provided excellent opportunities to get to know the other guests and to share our experiences.

Castel d' Amerique Francaise was wonderful. We stayed 3 nights. Located on quiet Rue Sainte-Ursule, there are countless restaurants and attractions close by. All you need to do is walk everywhere, because everything is within a short walking distance. There was private balcony with our room looking out on a quiet schoolyard and views of the city. We had a room on the second floor, which the hostess Jolanta accommodated as I have a little difficulty coming down stairs, but we got used to it and it was not a big concern. The room was quite spacious and clean with beautiful period furniture. The two queen beds were very comfortable and the pillows were large and comfortable. The bath was located in a separate room along the entrance hallway, the shower was nice with plenty of hot water, and there were plenty of soft towels. The breakfast room was cozy and the breakfast was delightful with coffee, breads, eggs, cheese, cereal (with plenty of protein toppings). We took the train from Montreal, so we did not have a car or need for parking. An Uber was quick to take us to the airport on our departure. An exceptional price for all of the amenities.

An exceptional value and experience. Great location in Old Quebec with easy walk to all major attractions; large comfortable room with comfortable beds, three easy chairs, wonderful art work, large tv and strong wi-fi. Delightful host with great breakfast choices.

We arrived after 8 pm and Jolanta greeted us warmly and explained the set up. We then went up one floor to our room with two double beds which looked great . We wondered what the above rooms were like with a better view and Jolanta was very flexible and said we could stay in similar room on top floor. The views were simply magnificent and had a private balcony. Now the 3 flights of steps are not easy but we thought worth the effort for the view and general comfort. Breakfast next morning was simply amazing . Once again Jolanta didn’t mind if we sat down a bit early as breakfast was set up from 7 am. The B&B is in a perfect location with many restaurants nearby and then a 5 min walk to the Chateau and Dufferin Terrace . In the other direction an easy walk to attractions like The Citadelle and Observatory. It’s a quiet street in a charming neighbourhood. Highly recommended

We stayed at B&B Castel d'Amerique Francaise in Quebec for 3 nights. What an Absolutely Marvelous place! So clean and spotless! We loved our room, it was most wonderful to sit out on the Terrace after a long day. Great view of Cheatau Frontenac and Edifice Price. It is so close to all the sights. We did not want to leave. The owner, Jolenta is such a wonderful and interesting lady. There was such a lovely variety at Breakfast, We enjoyed it immensely, fantastic variety of cheeses etc etc. We cannot wait to stay there again Thank you so much! Pam&Graham

This hotel is wonderfully charming and Jolanta was helpful and a great hostess! The beds are great and we really enjoyed the breakfasts with homemade breads each morning. Would totally recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Quebec City.

This lovely B&B hotel was perfect for our summer family trip. The rooms were beautifully appointed, comfortable, clean, and spacious; and the location was right in the center of Old Quebec, within walking distance of all the sites. The host provides tremendous hospitality, including a delicious breakfast each morning. We also enjoyed all of the artwork and decor in our rooms and throughout the hotel's halls and common spaces. We couldn't have asked for a better lodging location and experience. I highly recommend Castel d'Amérique Française and would definitely stay there during future visits!

Jolanta’s B&B was fantastic! Perfectly located (walking distance to all the shopping, eating and historical sites), our stay was made even more comfortable due to Jolanta’s hospitality. Breakfast was European style, delicious and located in a cute room. Although the building and furniture had an antique feel to it, it was very comfortable and our room was spacious, with a private terrace (a nice surprise!). Would recommend staying here and I will definitely want to book this place if I am lucky enough to visit Quebec City again! Thank Jolanta!
