The Murieta Inn and Spa

We stayed one night and the hotel was superb! Service, esthetics, food and our wonderful queen suite was beautiful! Bed was so comfy and the sheets were exquisite! Hotel is lovingly decorated with an equine theme that we sure wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy! Coming back there for sure! Book it and you wont be sorry! Great price too!

Located in the Amador wine country, and walking distance to the Rancho Murieta Equestrian Center, this hotel and spa offers top tier dining, massage and spa and pool, and is a welcoming retreat for those exploring the area. The western theme is well done and classy. Rooms are comfortable and appealing. The food and drink at the Gate restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend.

My stay at the Inn was wonderful! The staff and Spa were so friendly and very professional. Pool was always clean and water was a great temperature. Food at the gate was delicious and the waiter also was very friendly. I will definitely be staying here again.

Our room was great. Fast, easy check-in. The lobby is large and welcoming with two beautiful sitting areas. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fridge and microwave in room were very convenient. We also had a nice balcony to sit on overlooking the pool area. The pool and hot tub were well maintained with plenty of towels available. The Gate restaurant has a menu with a variety for everyone and always yummy "specials"....you won't be disappointed there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great long weekend stay.

We enjoyed a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the pool in a country setting. Nicely decorated western theme and the tiled, walk-in shower was like you would find in a custom home. The pool was large, very clean and inviting, as was the spa. We are looking forward to returning.

I am staying at Murieta Inn and Spa next month while attending a wedding. I wanted to give a shout out to Christina Nadel for finding an extra night for me and my family to attend all of the wedding festivities. I was initially told that there was no space available but she worked hard, even consulted her manager and found a room. Thank you, Christina!

I frequently stay at the Murieta Inn & Spa and have always been pleased with the entire experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and in perfect condition. The beds are the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever experienced, and I travel a lot. I can't say enough good things about it. Trust me and book your accommodations here, you will thank me later!

This hotel is the community pool for the neighborhood surrounding it. The pool is used by locals as their private pool. This is not a resort pool, if I wanted a community pool I would have stayed home. When I asked the manager about it I was given multiple stories but no apology. There are posted signs stating only registered guests are allowed but this is not the case . There are multiple signs saying no outside food or drinks but there are as many coolers as adults.

My friend and I stayed two days at the Murieta and enjoyed ourselves. The drinks from The Gate were strong and the food was exquisite. I ordered the French Dip and The Filet Mignon, the Filet Mignon was so unbelievable good that I would have ordered it again for breakfast. 🤣 The entire hotel had a very musty smell. It wasn’t bad enough to complain about but it was definitely odd. We had a facial and massage done at the spa by Brooke and Chantal and really enjoyed both. The girls were very sweet. We did have issues with the front desk staff and the restaurant staff. Everyone seems either very new or like they just genuinely don’t want to help you. I lost my credit card and wasn’t sure if I had dropped it in the lobby or shoved it in a bag somewhere so I asked the front desk to check their video footage and they refused, which I found very odd. The restaurant staff just seemed to make things difficult, we had ordered room service and had coupons for free appetizers and they made us come down to the restaurant to show them each time and then return to our room to have the food delivered. The next morning I asked if I ordered food could I pick it up and take it the pool and they said yes. So I ordered, went to the pool, came back 20 minutes later to pick it up, and returned to the pool. No one thought to tell me they had poolside service? The next day while at the pool a man walked by to take orders and asked if we needed anything and my friend asked for a menu. He said sure I’ll be right back, and then we didn’t see him again for another 30 minutes when he was talking to other guests. Overall it was a good stay but if you have any issues I couldn’t expect to rely on the staff.
