The property is aesthetically pleasing, featuring expansive green areas, lush fields, and a designated bathing area for elephants. It serves as a sanctuary for elephant rehabilitation, providing a nurturing environment and proper nutrition to the elephants. The staff demonstrates exceptional care, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors.

We recently stayed 3 nights at Sapana Village Lodge and wished we could have stayed longer. It was such a highlight! Friendly staff, delightful gardens and comfortable rooms. Well located for the park and if you are not on safari they offer a lot of other activities as well. The food and drinks were all outstanding and we enjoyed it so much we booked a cooking lesson to learn how to make butter masala at home! We loved that the lodge is helping to support the local community. If we ever return Chitwan we would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend! 5* thank you! :)

This place dissapointed me so much I was ecpected more hospitality from manager he he left us without information about the rules of operation of the hotel, he did not give us the keys to the room, we had to ask for them. I think he forgot about us, leaving us at the restaurant and going to other guests on the day of check-in. I felt like an unwanted guest and I was sorry. There are stray dogs in the hotel, they are not vaccinated and have worms, they stay in the restaurant during meals, it is very unhygienic and may also be dangerous if bitten. Room was nice and some staffs was nice.

Additionally, the captivating story behind the founding of this resort adds to its allure. The hospitality offered by the hotel meets expectations, although there is room for improvement in their meals and food selection, with no significant complaints noted. I highly recommend this place to individuals who prioritize community service as part of their lifestyle.

Sapana is a dream! We had a lovely stay for 3 nights with their all-inclusive package. Wow. The entire experience was one we will always cherish. The staff and ambiance make this a place that feels like home. They are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond on the daily. They even set up a beautiful morning breakfast with cake for one of our birthdays. The safari guides are fun and informative. We had some amazing wildlife sightings and really enjoyed being emersed in nature. We love that they take care of their rescue elephants, share the culture of the traditional local Tharu village and give back to the community in the most incredible ways. They really are a socially responsible eco tourism organization that are doing so much good in this world. We can't wait to come back! Thank you, thank you to the entire team.

Wow! Sapana Village Lodge was hands down one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed! Most would say the resident elephants were most memorable, but at an even tie, their staff were top notch. So accommodating and made a special birthday for me as well. Their guides were very experienced and safety focused. The lodge grounds were also stunning and rooms very comfortable. Naran and the staff provide superlative customer service, delicious food and amazing activities. Every detail was perfect - our only complaint was our visit was too short! Sipping a drink while watching the elephants take a mud bath, an exciting full day Jeep safari or a gourmet meal were highlights.

We had two delightful nights at Sapa Village Lodge, a charming resort that resembles a small village with houses reminiscent of Africa. It serves as a social project, offering local youth opportunities for internships. Employment and educational projects are organized by the establishment. The resort features spacious rooms, a beautifully landscaped garden, and a delightful restaurant with fantastic food. There are various cozy spots to relax, including evenings by the campfire and all-day seating on the terrace where you can observe elephants being fed. The staff is incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The lodge arranges safari and canoe trips as well as village tours. During these excursions, we learned a lot from the local population and encountered abundant wildlife, including 11 rhinoceroses. Two days were not enough; it was a truly enriching experience.
