Vilasira Rooms & Wines - Adults Only

Amazing spot! So beautiful! Friendly staff but Spanish oriented. The not so wine tour is only in Spanish so only for native speakers good to follow. Dinner in the cave was good but not sufficient to call it a proper dinner; but a very nice experience. We recommend the hotel to try to sell more snacks, drinks, wines in order to offer guests the full boutique hotel & wine experience.

The short version: A great location, nice rooms, nice outdoor area, but they need to learn a lot about taking care of their guests, make them feel welcome and appreciated. And a tip: If you don't speak Spanish at least reasonably well then don't bother joining the wine experience. The long version: Vilasira is invitingly located amidst beautiful vineyards and easy to find. The car park is locked: you need a mobile phone to ring them to open the gate. (Why no doorbell?) The parking is in the shade of large pine trees. The big, inviting door is to the restaurant. The reception entrance is a small door on the right. You enter a nice, welcoming area with a reception counter, small seating area where welcome drinks were waiting. The books and displays are nice, and highlight you being in a wine oriented venue! Receptionist spoke English, and check-in was smooth. Our room was up one of flight of stairs. It was as advertised on the site, beamed ceiling, window overlooking the patio, small but complete bathroom. The shower was great: large shower head and plenty of water. Nice fluffy towels. The double bed was large enough, firm and comfortable. The air-conditioning you have to manipulate carefully, but it is possible to arrange the airflow so it does not bother you when in bed. Outdoor area is nice, with seats, lounges and a swimming pool all by the side of their own 4 hectare vineyards. They have a few 'Bali beds' which are nice as they allow you to stay in the shade. (Read somewhere they charge for usage, but we used one without any comments or fees) We were there on Wednesday, and unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Instead we were offered a wine tasting experience, plus dinner in the wine cellars. At €35 pp we had high expectations, but unfortunately was a big disappointment. Yes, we were told the explanation was in Spanish. But we did not expect to be completely ignored by the guide. We were with 3 couples: 2 including ourselves speaking a little Spanish, 1 couple native Spanish speakers. The guide focused 100% on the Spanish speaking couple, ignoring the other 4 guests. --＞ So only take the Wine Not Experience when you're fluent in Spanish! We tasted 2 wines: a rosé and a red. Neither had anything to do with Vilasira! Strange, as the guide did mention there was wine from their own vineyards, but not for tasting and not for sale. Then we were led to the wine cellars where our dinner was waiting. Each couple was directed to a separate candle lit space. This was probably part of the experience, however a pity, as the group was just about coming together in the tour. And the guide disappeared, not to be seen again for the rest of the evening! Dinner was very disappointing, only a couple of plates of cold tapas and a bottle of the same wine we had for the tasting. So for us we felt the whole experience, 2 bottles of wine for the 6 of us for the tasting, a few plates of cold cuts and a bottle of wine was very much overpriced at €35 pp! Break

Piscina en mal estado. Cata de vinos muy deficiente. Explicaciones no relacionadas con el vino. Exceso de tiempo (1,5 horas frente a 1 hora prevista). Por lo demás todo muy bien: el lugar, el servicio, la comida, las habitaciones (aunque con poca luz).

Acudimos al hotel para pasar un fin de semana agradable con amigos, pero el propietario del hotel hizo lo que pudo por arruinarlo. El trato no fue bueno y las instalaciones no cumplieron las expectativas. Habitación sucia, cama diminuta e incómoda, sin minibar ni recepción de noche, en medio de la nada.

El hotel es una pasada, pero el finde semana que prometia ser increible, con amigos haciendo catas de vino, comiendo y cenando ahi, se turdio por los malos modos de los dueños y algunos miembros del staff. Es perfecto para ir en pareja pero no con amigos, ya que los dueños te hacen entender que les molestas con sus caras y cometarios. Una pena!

La recepción mala la despedida peor, el sitio una pasada, tal vez un poco recargada la decoración. Falta de mantenimiento en la habitación y la relación calidad precio es de demasiado precio para la calidad que se ofrece

La estancia y experiencia “Wine Not” han sido fantásticas. El sitio es precioso e impactante y esta muy bien cuidado. No obstante, el servicio nos ha dejado que desear por un pequeño incidente con la encargada… se nos achacó la pérdida de dos dni de unos huéspedes que habían llegado justo antes que nosotros y por negligencia de quien los recibió se perdieron. Al irnos y pagar la estancia no recibimos ningún tipo de agradecimiento ni de palabras amables de despido. Fue un pagar y “si te he visto no me acuerdo”. Se valora mucho cuando te vas de cualquier establecimiento (y más aún si has realizado en él un desembolso importante) que se te agradezca tu estancia y se te invite a volver de nuevo de forma educada y en este caso no obtuvimos el “adiós” que esperábamos, de hecho no recibimos adiós alguno. Una pena, nos vamos con un mal sabor de boca.

Como en casa y sin niños!!!!. Todo se desarrolla en un ambiente rural con mucha clase.. las vistas a los viñedos desde la piscina tumbado en una cama balinesa. El trato personal de los dueños es estupendo. La cata de vinos y la cena dentro de los Tullos, es muy curioso. Fin de semana para no olvidar.

Habitación correcta y lugar para desconexión y relax. Para pasar una noche y poco más. Recomendamos la cata que es divertida y diferente y el lugar vale la pena verlo, aunque es cierto que la cena no acaba de saciarte es una experiencia diferente y divertida. Por poner un pero el desayuno lo sirven demasiado tarde y si no te gusta pues no desayunas. Tampoco hay alternativa 🤣 También hacía un poco de frío en el hotel pues no encendieron la calefacció central. El jardín, la zona de la piscina, la bodega etc decorado con mucho mimo y con todos los detalles.
