The Baker House is beautifully decorated and the Writer’s room is large and comfortable with a wonderful shower. Our breakfasts were delicious and they catered to my husband’s dietary needs. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and we highly recommend Baker House.

My wife and I stayed at The Baker House B&B this past October. We stayed in the Gardener's Room. The room was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the private entrance. George and Sandra Baker were simply the best hosts. George guided us to the best restaurants in town, and his recommendations were spot on. Sandra accommodated a special request and turned a special weekend into a magical weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, which was served as a sit-down meal with the other guests staying in the house. Each meal was expertly crafted and delicious. We noted they made special dishes for those with food allergies. The atmosphere at the Baker House is unique, as you arrive as a guest and leave feeling you are leaving family, friends, and a home.

We had a lovely stay at the Baker House. Sandra and George are marvelous hosts and she also made the best banana bread I've ever had in my life. We stayed in the Writers Room, which had private entrance with its own deck, and a magnificent bathroom. Highly recommend!

baker house was a lovely spot right in the heart of rhinebeck! george and susan made us feel at home, and the homemade breakfast was exceptional! highly recommend! we hope to go back and visit soon, as the entire downtown is walkable from the property!

The Bakers were great hosts snd made a delicious breakfast in a beautiful home! Room was great with interesting decor. Modern conveniences , yet antiquey. In a great spot, a short six minute walk to the center of town and recommendations were spot on. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. The hospitality was amazing. We loved our room. The breakfasts were well thought out and delicious. The location was perfect to get around the town and attractions. It was a great long weekend. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Spouse and I spent 4 nites at the Baker House B&B. George greeted us, gave us a tour and helped carry our bags to our room. Our room was awesome with two sitting areas and windows on three sides. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was top of the line. Breakfast each morning was good with a creative dish and fresh fruit. George and Sandra were perfect hosts—with excellent recommendations for dinners and sight seeing. George and Sandra are restoring this ~1870s home by themselves. The history and efforts for preservation are just one reason to stay. We hope to be back!

This was our third stay at the Baker House! The hospitality shown the guests by hosts George and Sandra is outstanding as are the breakfasts and the discussions at the breakfast table! The rooms are cozy and comfortable and the B&B is in walking distance of some excellent restaurants. When in Rhinebeck this is where we stay!

We had our eye on The Baker House for quite some time but it’s usually fully booked so when a last minute opening showed up, we jumped at the opportunity and are so glad we did. What an interesting and lovely place! George and Sandra were so welcoming and accommodating and our room, The Gardener’s Room, was such a private and peaceful place to enjoy our long weekend in Rhinebeck. The walk to downtown Rhinebeck is short and pleasant with plenty of options for shopping, eating, or just strolling around the gorgeous town. There are many other ways to enjoy the beautiful nature in the area as well. We highly recommend a stay at The Baker House and hope to return next time we visit Rhinebeck!
