This hotel is absolutely amazing...I really cannot say anything negative about it. From the staff to the facilities and the location, everything about this hotel is 5 star. Me and my partner went B and B as we like to get out and explore. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice . The staff are so accommodating and will do anything for you. We did eat once in the hotel at the Italian themed restaurant (can't remember the name) and the food was very good . Bit poncy but obviously prepared and served with class at the forefront. The room was spotless and so comfortable with an amazing view that I will always remember. The pool at night is a spectacular. Little lights that change colour and flicker all evening giving the ambience of the hotel such a classy and visually amazing touch . The beach directly opposite the hotel is rocky and pebbly but still very nice. I personally am a beach coniseur so always search for the best beaches. So I would highly recommend tskimba beach which is 10 minute bus ride away . Best beach I have been to ...golden soft sand , crystal clear water. Amazing little bar/restaurant playing chilled and relaxing music. Service to your sunbed if you want and only €20 for 2 sunbeds and a brolly. Outside of the hotel there is an abundance of little shops and restaurants with a variety of different foods . Altogether Rhodes was amazing. The Sentigo Royal Port and spa is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to this place .

Cooks clubs kolymbia is a recently refurbished retreat, all rooms, public areas and pools are brand new and in perfect condition. The relaxed boho aesthetic passing through the hotel from one area to the other helps create an instant sense of calm and relaxation. Both pools are stunning featuring draw dropping views as the hotel is situated in between a rocky hill range (mountain goats included!) The Pool bar by the larger bar is flawless, a great asset to the hotel. Although we were not a fan of the Kolymbia beach resort itself due to it being very tourist heavy with large hotels and slightly tacky bars (sorry!), we found it was in the useful location of being directly in the middle of both Rhodes old town and Lindos Village, both a must visit with local buses going to both making exploring the island very easy! Tip: buses always run about 15 mins late. The staff themselves were fantastic and extremely helpful, small touches go a long way! Our overall stay was great, it’s definitely a good 4star hotel and I would definitely highly recommend. Improvements: Breakfast was slightly chaotic everyday. - Coffees taking over 20 mins to arrive daily. - Forgetting drinks orders, never bringing any milk with the breakfast tea even after requesting? - I did find it strange there was not an iron to quickly borrow from the front desk, the steaming service sounds great but not in a rush. Easy fix for breakfast is to have set staff for smaller areas of tables rather than all staff running around trying to collectively keep guests happy. Fantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

The hotel was beautiful inside and outside and fantastic in terms of things to do. For example there was a private beach with a lovely view, shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Mini golf and swimming pools. One of the pools is fairly cool and the other is heated. The beach had a place where you could use jet skis, windsurf and do other things, this was privately owned and at an extra cost. You could play ball and games in the pool with no bother too. Good selection of sun-beds in the sun and great pool drinks. Loads of different places to sit and relax inside and outside, with the selection of being peaceful or in louder areas. The rooftop bar was beautiful and great choices of drinks. Our room was clean and very nice inside. Even the Mountain View was lovely. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay 15 minutes away from Old Town Rhodes. Easy to get to the airport. The only thing that has stopped me from giving the hotel 5/5 (which I really didn’t want to as everything else was perfect) was unfortunately the food. I was told this hotel accommodated for people with allergies e.g gluten free for coeliac sufferers. But unfortunately the process to get gluten free food was very slow, outdated and painful. You had to speak to the chef to be told what was gluten free and not gluten free, but unfortunately there isn’t much choice and it’s very difficult to remember. what he is telling you. On some nights the chef wasn’t able to come out. So you just ended up having to guess which was gluten free. There is no food allergen labels telling you what dish contains what allergens. Every hotel I have stayed in has stated what the ingredients is of each dish and if it contains dairy, wheat or nuts. This would really benefit the food staff and the hotel if they did this. And most importantly the guests. Also we were able to hire a car in reception to drive to Lindos and it was a great service and fairly priced, which was fantastic! I would say if you are coeliac sufferer you may find this hotel difficult. Luckily we found restaurants nearby that were able to make Gluten Free Meals e.g down the road is Amalfi Coast and they do Gluten Free Pizza. Apart from the GF food, I would 100% stay again! If you are not GF this is the place for you!

We stayed in the Sheraton Rhodes in the first week of July (2 adults 2 kids), last minute booking through Voyage Prive (booked Wednesday, flew Saturday). I found all the reviews here helpful in deciding to choose this hotel; here are our own experiences. Overall very happy with the hotel, facilities and service. Hotel rooms - we had guessed the hotel was built in the 70s/80s as the rooms and building itself are quite bland (actually built in 1993). We had Deluxe Sea View interconnecting rooms on 10th floor which suited us perfectly. View is fantastic - you can watch the sun set over the Turkish mountains on the far side. It was €4200 for the week for 2 Deluxe sea view rooms with ‘full board plus’. The minibar only had water and the waters were not replenished at all during the week. This seems almost a regular thing now with even top end hotels and in any case water bottles are 60 cent in the 1st floor minimarket. The king size beds are very nice. The hotel itself is not 5-star equivalent by European major city standards but nor are you paying anywhere near European 5-star prices for your stay. We found the hotel good value for the money. The public interior areas are clean and well-thought out. The lobby and the atrium around Knights bar is lovely. They have a baby grand piano open to anybody to play which is a really nice touch and adds a lot of character to the place. You’ll find kids and grown ups alike playing. There’s a nice mix of many different nationalities with the guests. Pools: 3 outdoor pools, with plenty of sun-loungers and parasols to go around throughout the day. The pool on 6th floor is very quiet and amazingly only ever had 3 or 4 people in it, with loads of space around it; the restrooms and showers here are even marble-tiled. Restaurants: the Castellano restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet is very good and the staff there are excellent. There is a good mix of fruit / salads / hot food / cereals / breads. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a table outside. Non-dairy milks are still clearly not a thing for most people as sometimes these had bits in them, stick to soy milk rather than oat / almond! Themed nights meant sushi, Mediterranean options etc. as well as the usual main buffet selections. Full board +: we had 3 meals plus drinks included for the week which was okay value (about €900 for full board and €200 for drinks). Sheraton could organise this better. You get a paper card with your meal plan written on it which you must show staff every time you sit down for a meal, until they get to know you. Why they don’t just record your meal plan with your room number in the system I don’t know. With so many staff involved in serving drinks / issuing the bills etc, mistakes can happen the odd time. The extra for ‘drinks’ is about the price you would pay anyway, because as we found out on the first day, only one drink (juice, beer or house wine) is included per person.
