Summer Dream

The staff, more specifically Ilias, Sofia, the gentleman with long hair that received us at the reception and the lady that serves breakfast, were really nice and this is was without a doubt the best of it. The breakfast was good, on the other hand lunch and dinner was someday's better and someday's worse but the staff was really slow, everyday there was lack of food and we had to ask for more and we had to clean our own tables before we sat down. The cleaning was the worse, the linens were no changed at all, the towels were meant to be changed every two days but this did not happen either. The floor was dirty with sand, hairs and anything else that fell in it because it was never cleaned. It is quite far from any of the sandy beach's of from the capital, 30 min driving for Rhodes and Faliraki or if you want to go to Lindos 1 hour. The pool was good, but the surroundings were dirty. Nonetheless, considering that it was all inclusive, even that not all drinks were included, but there was beer, 4 different cocktails and Greek vodka, gin, tequila, the price was good.

The best bartenders on the Rodos. George and Sofia doing their best and they make delicious drinks. Staff is very friendly. Pool is great, Sara doing a fantastic job in pool bar. Food isn't the highest quality but everyone can find something for theirselves. Cleanliness is on low level, rooms are small but it's not the worst. The best bar and pool bar.

Hotel on the outside very nice but the rooms are of average quality and especially the bathroom which is just dirty but it is an experience. The food was a big plus for me, I liked it very much, because it was diverse, and the bar made the best impression on me, its service is great and very communicative, the bartenders talk and joke themselves, the drinks are delicious, I highly recommend it. An additional advantage is the swimming pool, which may not be too large, but enough to cool down in it and swim.

I've spent holiday with my friends, we're all university students, so our expectations weren't very high. The rooms met all of our needs, both had working tv, fridge, air conditioner and a balcony. The biggest flaw was definitely the bathroom, it's condition was pretty poor. Pool and pool bar were great. Even though the pool area isn't very big, we were always able to find a spot and swim freely. Food was okay. The menu wasn't as various as I wish, but we were always satisfied after meals. To the beach leads easy and quiet short road. The biggest advantage of this place is the staff. Waitresses at the restaurant were always nice. We especially liked the bartenders, they were smiling and chatting all the time, they easily joked with us in English and made our stay even better.

We've just returned from 2 weeks at Summer Dream. I have given a score of 4, which is probably a bit generous but it wouldn't let me do 3.5. Our party was myself and mu husband (40s), nephew and his girlfriend (31) and their kids (12 & 6). I wasn't expecting spectacular accommodations as it is Greece after all, so my expectations were quite low. We booked and paid for 2 family rooms but when we checked in, we had 1 family room and a room with a double and a single. It was no bother, as myself and husband were happy with the room. The room was pleasant, with a flat screen TV which actually had a few English channels on. My only really issue with the room was the horrible shower. The shower cubicle wasn't fully enclosed and was absolutely tiny so you ended up banging yourself on the taps when you tried to turn around. The bathroom floor got wet whenever we used the shower and there was a drain in the middle of the floor. The swimming pool and pool bar were fantastic and we were always able to get sunbeds. The staff were fantastic, especially George and Sofia at the main bar and Sarah and Mateo at the pool bar. The food - what can I say? It started off quite well and lasted for about 5 days. Then there were no fried eggs with breakfast and just a weird omelette thing on offer. There were no chips at lunch or tea. The "Greek salad" had no feta in after the first few days, which was very disappointing as this was my main food source. My fussy 6 year old great nephew would only eat chips, chicken nuggets or plain pasta so often, he was eating the same thing twice a day, every day. The food was mostly edible but we all got bored of it being the same thing all the time, and ate out 4 times at night and twice in the day. There's as great kebab/gyros shop at the bottom of the road, with delicious gyros for only 3 euros. We had an excellent meal on our last night at Rodi Deli, just a bit further down the road. The pool bar ran out of bottled water for about 4 days and when it came back, the staff were told they could only give it to the kids, which is absolutely ridiculous! No entertainment whatsoever, despite it being mentioned on the hotel website. We caught the bus to Rhodes town twice and had a great time looking around the moat and generally pottering about, with 1 lunch in McDonalds and another excellent lunch in Arena sports bar. All in all, I enjoyed my holiday but I wouldn't return to this hotel as there's just nothing going on and the food needs to be vastly improved.

I could not recommend this to anyone. The hotel is nice but the room we got to was barely acceptable. There are 2 bad things which has to be mentioned. The first one are the cicadas. If you intend spending the day at the hotel's pool just be prepared to face the absurdly loud noise. We tried suggesting to the hotel that something could be done to limit their number but the answer was that it's nature and they won't harm nature. The second thing which bothered me is the food. Barely eatable. Avoid all inclusive here at all cost. There is a small bar at 100 meters where we eat wonderful food. Also the dining area could be cleaner. If you intend to go to the beach near the hotel forget it. Theologos beach is rocky and the winds are so hard that you can barely enter in the sea. All in all stay here if you want to have a more affordable accomodation and rent a car to see the island. Rhodes is amazing.

Hotel was very basic. But had a lovely time here. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. There is not alot to do here but if u want just to relax and do nothing. This is the place to go.

The food was delicious. The chef greeted us personally. Sunset is amazing when you watch it at the balcony at dinner. Highly Recommended

Just perfect. Friendly people. Nice food. Good and clean room with comfortable beds. Good place for plane spotting.
