Hotel Continental

I have booked 5 rooms for 8 nights at this hotel 3 months before our business trip. And after we have stayed several days at the hotel, in-between another conversation, they have told us that they will close the hotel in a few days and they will move us to another hotel for our last day. It was so unpolite that they haven’t informed us before. As I have learned from a friend, they were doing this every year for Expo visitors. Moreover, they have offered us a dinner with fish to apologize because we do not eat pork at all. but when we got to the dinner, there was no fish. There was a creamy potato with fish. But you need a microscope to see the fish inside 😂 When we were talking about their dinner offer one night before, we have showed a picture of a seabass fish photo from google not to have a misunderstanding. They have said yes, there will be a grilled fish like seabass. But there was only pasta and various cold salad-starter options. When we have told this situation yo reception, they have blamed to saying a lie that they have not promised gor any fish. It was more disappointing that I have been accused of being a liar.. They have ruined that night of us.

We came from Zürich to Rimini, two years after our first visit in 2021 and looked a while for a good hotel (we stayed before in two 3* hotels). We read a lot about the Continental and decided to try it for 7 nights. We were traveling with a 4months old baby and our standars are usually quite high, so if you are a critic, this review would suit very well. We chose the option with 3 meals and booked through the official website as they are offering complimentary Upgrade upon availability and best price compared to agencies. The hospitality of this hotel is much better than many 5* Hotels we've been to, including the ones in Switzerland. The staff are overall super friendly, they make you feel spoiled and cared for. The food is exceptional, varied, tasty and perfectly balanced. Both the waiters and the chefs are super friendly and would assist you without asking. The chef Allessandro comes very often outside to present the dishes, explain how they cook them and answer to any questions/ queries, showing a lot of professionalism and class. The housekeepers are always greeting and smiling, the rooms spotlessly cleaned every day. The beach staff is very friendly and easy going. They try to organize the beach beds upon your requests and availability. We were greeted every time we came to the beach and left. Obviously the management takes care of the staff and are understanding, which reflects in the quality the staff is able to provide to the clients. They made such a great impression on us thwt we extended our stay to another 5 nights as of the third day here. We were super happy to be at the Continental and we will definitely come back, hopefully every year as of now. Sono stata solo per una notte con un bambino di 7 anni. L’accoglienza di Monica in reception e’ stata superlativa. Sorriso,disponibilità,informazioni chiare e ottima comunicazione anche con il piccolo che e’ stato accolto con un cadeau. Camera pulita al primo piano con balcone ampio e affaccio laterale sul mare. Si vede che hanno cercato di fare del loro meglio per modernizzare la camera. Il bagno e la doccia sono piccoli non da 4 stelle ma funzionali. Abbiamo fatto colazione e c’e’ una vasta scelta di dolce e salata di qualità. C’era molta gente,personale in forze ce n’era ma ragazzi giovani ai quali abbiamo sollecitato piu volte la mancanza dei bicchieri. Sono comunque tutti attenti al clienti e gentili. Purtroppo non abbiamo utilizzato della piacina perche’ chiudeva alle 19 e noi abbiamo fatto check - in poco prima ( consiglio d’estate di prolungare l’orario).

Complimenti in particolare allle persone di servizio al ristorante e nei break per l'attenzione a specifiche richieste mie (p.es.: acqua non fredda) e dei partecipanti ai corsi da me condotti! Ottimo anche il lavoro di allestimento giornaliero della sala riunioni!

Ottimo posto personale molto professionale location ottima e in ottima posizione consiglio vivamente rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo cucina eccellente curata nei minimi dettagli siamo stati davvero molto bene e penso che ci ritorniamo
