Econo Lodge Pittsburgh I-79

以motel標準，還算乾淨整潔，但價格太高了，一半應該是合理市價。前台説是城裡要比賽，但入住率極低。有點被宰的感覺

汽車旅館一般般

This is definitely a no frills motel. It is older, yet it has been decently taken care of. The room was clean and smelled nice. The linens were clean, and the pillows were soft. The shower was warm, and everything seemed well cleaned. Definitely not a top level hotel, but for the price, it was a very comfortable stay. The neighborhood was also nice.

Everything thing was pretty good for an economy hotel. The paint on the door was chipped but the beds, bathroom, and fridge were all serviceable. One thing is that the door wasn't soundproof so we heard when people walked past. The continental breakfast spread was better than I expected.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Gas station/convenience store right next door. Bonus Primanti Bros. Less than a minute away.

Old but maintained motel, set back from highway and other businesses, sits up on a ridge. Convenient location- just 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Exterior is older, nothing special, even looks sorta vacant. Careful of the drainage grates in parking areas (recessed, like a big pothole). The manager is attentive and available with the ring of a bell at the counter even for a later check-in or early checkout. Simple breakfast foods were ready for breakfast at 6 a.m., including coffee, muffins, bananas, bread/toast, etc. Our room was older, somewhat worn / tired, but very clean. Lighting was dim. Blackout curtain. Faint odor from sanitizing products, not offensive but if you are sensitive to smells you will notice it. Plenty of surface areas to set your bags up off the floor. Fridge and microwave. Very quiet with exception that you will hear other guests coming and going in the parking area, so this is dependent in how considerate they are. Beds are “full” size (slightly smaller than queens), but fairly comfortable. Good pillows. I would stay here again with my husband, but not alone. While I did not feel unsafe, it is somewhat isolated and being a budget motel, gets a mixed crowd of guests.

It was close to the highway and a store. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Our stay at the I-79 Econolodge was good! The bed was quite comfortable and the room felt clean when we arrived (no lingering odors etc.) Lots of parking available, next to a GetGo station which is convenient for food and gas. I have a bit of a sensitive nose to allergens and I think maybe our air filter needed a change in the AC unit (normal-nose husband was fine!) but that very fixable and not a long-standing issue. Staff is very kind at the front. Would stay again!

I was very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was also surprisingly quiet… both in road noise and from other guests. As it’s a motel setup it was easy to park right outside our door, which helped coming and going. And the curtain at the window was an excellent light blocker. This is definitely a “don’t judge a book by its cover” situation, as the exterior is quite worn and run down looking, and the location is unimpressive.
