Roma Room Hotel

I think I saw most rooms over a period of a week or so. Not far from the centre, you can take the underground or walk there in 20 odd minutes. Shops nearby and if you break your leg, so is the hospital. Can't complain too much. The owner was flexible and found me a room every time.

Bad air conditioning which was at 30 degrees celcius and did not go down any further. The weather and temperature outside was around 40 degrees Celsius and with a bad air conditioning that the hotel owner would not do anything about, made the stay very uncomfortable. The shower head was very bad and rusty, both shower heads went on at the same time and did not have good water pressure. The ceiling in the bathroom was moldy and disgusting, which is not good for breathing at all. I think the hotel owner was very arrogant and had little empathy for us guests who wanted better air conditioning because the insanely hot temperature. The hotel room we got had no fridge at all where we could store something cold for ourselves. Instead we got 6 bottles of lukewarm water. We had booked a hotel room that was supposed to be for 4 people, but we ended up with a room that was very cramped and small. Which again means that the air in the room was clammy with the fact that the air conditioning was very poor. We ended up with zero resolution with the hotel owner, as the hotel owner was more concerned that nothing was wrong with the hotel. The hotel did not include breakfast, but I don't think I would try the hotel breakfast in the hotel considering the quality... In the end we found ourselves a better hotel-apar**ent. We recommend Numa Italy. Fantastic smart hotel apar**ent in Rome.

I liked staying at Roma Room Hotel. I decided to travel to Rome on short notice, so I was happy to snag a room at this hotel which is pretty close to the city center. The hotel has a pretty courtyard that locks at night, which is an additional layer of security. The receptionist was super kind and the room is clean. The hotel is furnished in an old-fashioned style that I really like! The bathroom had a bidet, which I really appreciate. The room was airconditioned all the time, so I didn't feel any of the scorching heat outside. All in all, I'm very happy with my stay at this hotel. The neighborhood of Nomentano, where this hotel is located, is not very clean, but don't let that discourage you from staying here.

In the homepage it says rate for 2 people, but after I arrived with my friend there was an issue, the owner (I guess this Chinese couple who were there are owners) said it is only for one person. Instead of solving this situation in a polite manner as misunderstanding, I must say the way he treated us was not acceptable, he was so rude, he shouted at us and I have never felt so badly humiliated as a woman. It is an international hotel and he also refused to speak English with me. This hotel is more like one star hotel: Television is too small and it didn’t work, Wi-Fi also didn’t work, air conditioning didn’t work, they have there old dusty fan, even we informed them, they did nothing. Then whole bathroom needs to be renovated there was also mold in the shower. Our stay was a nigh**are!

Very friendly and welcoming foreign staff. Single room of the right size and well taken care of, with no shortage and pre-refrigerated for my arrival. Location in a very chic and served area of ​​Rome. I am very satisfied although my stay was only one day.

I wanted a place affordable close to the train station and it was close enough; about a 25 minute walk. Not much to offer in the neighborhood, however. Good clean hotel, and room with good facilities. On a main road so lots of street noise. However, I was given a room high in the back which helped. The staff (maybe owner's) we're all very nice and accommodating.

The staff is very kind and helpful but this is not enough to forget that the hotel is very very old and absolutely needs to be refreshed. We had problems with the flush and the blankets were not very cleaned also the shower tap was not good at all. Breakfast ok.

Soggiornato per tre notti in coppia, con un pacchetto Golden moments. Punti negativi: Hotel datato e modesto, camere piccole e datate, in stanza solo un piccolo ventilatore, frigorifero assente e aria condizionata non funzionante. Fortuna che non era ancora troppo caldo il periodo. Punti positivi: stanze seppur datate pulite, titolari cordiali, posizione veramente ottima a due passi dalla metro blu policlinico da cui si può raggiungere il centro in nemmeno 10 minuti, per chi ne volesse usufruire offrono un comodissimo servizio parcheggio interno. Zona tranquillissima.E seppure l'hotel non offra molti servizi nelle sue immediate vicinanze si trovano bar, market e locali. Tutto sommato esperienza positiva. Per noi è stato l'ideale. Consigliato a chi ha bisogno di un comodo appoggio per poter visitare Roma in comodità e senza particolari esigenze di alloggio.

Non sono solito scrivere recensioni negative, ma un’esperienza come questa non mi era mai capitata. Non tanto per il posto in sé, che alla fine è situato in zona comoda e le cui camere sono abbastanza pulite per quanto con mobilio molto datato ed approssimativo, quanto per la pessima esperienza patita con il titolare, il quale si è dimostrato a più riprese molto sgradevole e maleducato, assertivo e per nulla disponibile. A titolo di esempio, abbiamo dovuto insistere molto per farci aprire il cancello a reception chiusa quando abbiamo chiamato il numero di telefono che il suo dipendente, informato che saremmo rientrati dopo la chiusura della reception, ci aveva dato per farci aprire, in quanto non avremmo potuto aprire il cancello da soli dato che non ci sono state consegnate le chiavi degli alloggi che al nostro arrivo non erano pronti. Non bastasse, abbiamo dovuto sopportare 10 minuti circa di lamentele dello stesso proprietario, pronunciate in un italiano stentato. Mai più, da evitare.
