Sun Moon

We stayed at the Palma residence and it was really nicee. Staff was excellent. The room was serviced every day. The bed was a double bed put together to make a full but was comfortable. The shower stall was rather small but the water pressure was good. I would recommend the Palma Residence.

Property was close to the train station and metro links to the centre of Rome. Room floor was not cleaned and room was generally unclean. Staff were helpful in helping us to get a taxi to the airport

The building seems old from outside, but inside it is different. The rooms are very nice and clean. Every day the stuff cleans the rooms and makes the beds. The rooms have been recently renovated. I had a great time staying in this hotel and I recommend it.

This stay was part of our return trip back to the US. The SunMoon is a great deal. This time we had a room on the 6th floor that was really nice. Cold A/C, mini fridge and best of all...CLEAN!. It had a really cool elevator that we used to get to our room We just use it to sleep and clean up.The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. There is also a little convenience store next door for water and drinks. It is the perfect location for getting back to the airport, train and to tour the city. With this location, you will not need a cab to get here from FCO. Just take train in, exit RIGHT out of terminal and walk a couple of blocks. We never felt unsafe walking to the hotel. There are a lot of people around ( welcome to Rome). What we liked the best is that the price is amazing ($37.00 + tax)/night. it was comfortable and we were able to walk everywhere. Great restaurants right next door. and super nice people. If you are not needing a "big"room and just want to have a great time I recommend SunMoon

L'hotel si trova in una posizione molto comoda, i prezzi sicuramente sono allettanti, il personale gentile però ahimè la nostra camera era un po' sporca e necessitava di una piccola ristrutturazione. La posizione della nostra camera era vicino alla reception al piano terra e quindi la mattina dalle 8 e la sera fino le 23 passate si sentivano persone che parlavano, citofono che suonava, telefono che squillava.... Davvero fastidioso, infatti ci è risultato difficile riposare. La camera non molto pulita, i muri tutti segnati dal tempo, muffa nella doccia e abbiamo trovato dei capelli neri nelle lenzuola, così abbiamo chiesto delle lenzuola pulite e da soli le abbiamo sostituite perché non c'era la persona addetta a fare ciò. Anche nelle lenzuola nuove abbiamo trovato gli stessi capelli, probabilmente saranno delle persone che le piegano. Le lenzuola erano lavate e stirate però quando si fa il letto sarebbe il caso di controllare ed eliminare questo errori che danno all'ospite immediatamente idea di sporco. Non consiglio questo hotel a meno che non si sia persone molto ma molto spartane e con il desiderio di spendere poco.

Cuando pagas por internet, te dejan una parte sin pagar que se paga cuando llegas en cash. Y cuando pagas en cash, si no lo pagaste justo te dicen que no tienen cambio en ese momento pero que te lo dejarán en la habitación al día siguiente. Y no es verdad. Después de 5 días, y de dejar una carta en italiano para el servicio de habitaciones, no obtuve respuesta ni el dinero; Y ya que tampoco había forma de contactar con la recepción, porque la recepción esta en otro edificio a 7 minutos andando del que yo estaba alojado, tuve que presentarme el ultimo día para reclamar el dinero que me debían y aún así me costó conseguirlo; Incluso decían no entender el italiano ni español (ya que todos los trabajadores son de Bangladesh) Además las toallas tenían manchas, incluso las nuevas que ponían cada día. No había recepción en el edificio. El aire acondicionado es de esos portátiles que tiene poca potencia. Las sabanas también tenían manchas y pelusa. Una experiencia horrible, no volvería jamás.

Una stanza davvero pulita, è qualità prezzo direi ottimi. L'unica cosa di cui mi lamento è la cartigienica che non era nuova, solo questo. Per il resto ve la consiglio vivamente.

A la mañana dejamos nuestras valijas hasta el horario del check in. Al volver a la tarde estaba atendiendo un hombre de origen posiblemente indio (simplemente lo aclaro para que lo ubiquen, porque desconozco su nombre) de MUY MAL carácter. Nos envió a otro hotel a hospedarnos porque ahí ya no había lugar, diciendo que era nuestra culpa por “llegar tarde” (eran las 19:30 aprox) , que somos unos irresponsables, que le ocupamos toda la recepción con nuestras valijas (si las dejamos ahí es porque alguien nos autorizó, no?) y hasta amenazaba con dejarnos sin hospedaje, que ya estaba pago por cierto. Como tienen gente atendiendo de esa manera al turista? Con tantas otras personas desempleadas que valorarían y cuidarían mucho más su trabajo

Bij aankomst was het onduidelijk waar wij moesten aanbellen. We hebben het telefoonnummer gebeld en de deur werd open gedaan door de host. Wij waren er rond 10:00 en vroegen of wij ons koffer alvast konden brengen, dat was geen enkel probleem. De host bood ons een kamer dichter bij het centrum aan (ik denk dat het “La dea di Roma” heet, gelegen Via Antonio Rosmini 12, 00184 Rome). Alle bezienswaardigheden liggen op loopafstand. Wij konden over twee uren terugkomen en dan al gebruik maken van de kamer. Na twee uur belden wij weer aan en liep de host met ons mee naar het andere complex. Het was ongeveer 10 minuutjes lopen. Het was een zeer mooie kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het zag er pas gerenoveerd uit en was erg netjes. De kamer werd iedere dag schoongemaakt en voorzien van schone handdoeken. Klein minpuntje was dat het erg gehorig was, iedereen op straat en in de hal hoor je. Ook was op de betreffende kamer die wij hadden (104) de boiler voor alle kamers. Wanneer iemand uit de andere kamers dus vroeg in de ochtend douchte, werd je wakker door de boiler. Wanneer je op de kamer kwam, moest je goed verluchten want dan rook je een sterke rioollucht. Al bij al, voor deze prijs, zeker een aanrader.
