I recently spent a week at this guesthouse, and I highly recommend it to other travellers. It’s well-maintained, well-located, and staffed by the nicest people you could hope to meet. I’ll start this review by thanking Maria, Giovanni, Christy and Melissa for their hospitality and kindness during my stay. All of them really made me feel welcome and at home. I stayed in the junior suite. It was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. My only criticism of the room is minor – it could use more table/counter space. There’s just one smallish desktop that got very cluttered with my stuff during my stay. The addition of a table and a couple of chairs would be most helpful. I had breakfast every morning. It was served at a communal table in the kitchen, and it included a selection of cereal, pastries and breads, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, and cooked to order scrambled eggs. Breakfast was more than ample to get me off to a good start each morning. The guesthouse is at the east end of the quiet, upscale Prati neighborhood. It’s a short walk across the river to the Piazza del Popolo and the historic center of Rome. In the other direction, it’s a somewhat longer, but enjoyable, walk to the Piazza San Pietro and the Vatican Museums. If you don’t feel like walking, there’s a bus stop 3 short blocks away where you can catch buses that run by all the major sights in Rome. Thanks again to Maria and all the wonderful people at Belli36Rooms!
