Red Roof Inn Detroit - Roseville/ St Clair Shores

Place is cheap and nice, I’m happy that it’s really clean too!

Lady at desk was super but place still rundown! Very dirty. Floors awful. Counters dresser sticky. Only 3 light bulbs, fixtures hanging crooked. Shower super slow to drain, toliet handle broke. Place use to be stacked with bass boats but only 2 to 3 boats a night this trip.

Rooms are what you'd expect for the price (~$70). Our room had a Microwave, Refrigerator, and Safe. The room could have been cleaner. The floors looked as if they had not been cleaned well. Despite all rooms being non-smoking, our room smelled as if it used to be a smoking room. This is not uncommon in hotels but there is a musty smoke smell to the room we stayed in. Decor was decent. Bed was comfortable. The shower needs renovated but we had hot water the entire 2 night stay. You receive the necessities, towels, pillows, soap, etc. I was unable to connect any devices to the TV. I believe they have the TV settings locked down to inhibit usage of gaming devices, laptops, etc. via HDMI ports. This was disappointing as the entertainment available was limited. I would stay here again for short visits on my own. I will not stay here when traveling with my wife, children, or on extended stays.

Excellent staff, helpful! Room clean, neat, with lots of needed stuff, mWave, Refrig, Iron/Ironing board, hair dryer Max security, deadbolt + latch-lock. Reasonable rates despite all they offer. Next trip, I'll definitely seek a Red Roof Inn!!❤️

Matt, Kristen, Samantha, and Christian were very professional as it related to my payment and the things I needed during my stay. When I asked questions. They responded quickly with the correct answers. And they made every effort to ensure my stay was comfortable and peaceful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide Wi-Fi and free coffee. Very convenient location to restaurants, groceries, gas, shopping and freeways. Be sure you request a room with a microwave and refrigerator if you're planning an extended stay.

Customer service was excellent. Antonio and manager represent well. I could not have asked for anyone kinder or more competent. I did not end up staying as there is no breakfast and I am diabetic I need to eat first thing. Was not aware that there would be a fee for a safe until I arrived. That is added onto your bill safe, although staff was willing to discuss no safe fee if I chose. Again, evidence of great customer service

Everyone was always super helpful and friendly, great experience overall! They were always available to help with needs for our room like clean towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and would offer help before we even asked. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend Ted roof the staff members, specifically Cindy, Sue, and Sheryl Brown, made our experience a very good one! Thanks again for all the help!
