Made a last minute booking to stay the night after touching down in Gatwick at night with a migraineq, not knowing how isolated the place was. Its was dark and eerily quiet to get to, room was without heating and the hot water kettle was rusty and peeling. Still for the price, a very decent place to near the airport that offers a phone to directly call for United cars shuttl

Brilliant little place had the basics not much else but nice clean bed to sleep and nice view of the approaching aircraft at Gatwick. Little bit of mold in the shower but not so bad it was the end of the world. Nice and friendly staff and tea and coffee provided.

Service is goed. Ik had pech ivm het slechte weer waardoor internet het het niet deed en ik de kamer niet kon openen met met mijn kaart. Ik kon wel mijn kamer binnen met hulp van de medewerker. Dit heeft even geduurd voordat het werd opgelost. Prima bed.

I only needed somewhere basic to stay whilst I sat exams at CAA Gatwick. This hotel doesn't take payments using a card machine, it feeds them through a web portal. I had hoped to pay with my phone. After paying online, the hotel insisted it hadn't gone through (and the portal was unclear). My bank app clearly showed a payment, but the hotel insisted I "try again". The following day, I was locked out of my room and still they insisted I "try again" to pay. So I paid twice. No receipt, no invoice.
Please, invest in a card terminal. The hotel is basic, tired-looking, it's fine as a cheap stay but prepare to be charged double and wait for your money-back. I wanted a stress-free stay to assist with my exams - instead I was fretting over payments. Avoid.

The manager of this hotel very young man, he is nasty rude. Chase down the corridor, swearing, stating mess in room though it was an unmade bed told me it smells when the only thing smells is him cooking his food in the corridor.he was standing outside my room listening to me. Couldn’t go out the front door with him watching me. Although being a regular guest to both hotels he has refused me to stay again and I have done nothing wrong. The plugs was hanging out the wall. One room my foot fell through the floor. There was a bug crawling all over the bathroom floor and hairs was found in the bed. Check out being 11 but cleaners open doors and bang on doors way before this.

Nice place, a bit like a country retreat feel without the spa but with aircraft noise. Didn’t bother me, it was perfectly convenient in that respect. Room was small and bathroom configuration was interesting. Good value though and I’d stay again.
