Each interior designed apartment is self-contained with private kitchen (with washing machine) and bathroom facilities, free WiFi and finished to a high, contemporary standard to ensure each stay is as comfortable as possible.
Abbott House is an ideal location for both leisure and business guests: a ten minute stroll over the River Ver will take you into the centre of town or take a left to the beautiful Verulamium Park. It's in a good location, and the flat is fairly well equipped, but the access procedure on arrival is very complex and the instructions are not very clear (we had top ring the helpline, and we could hear other arrivals doing the same). There are also some issues with the flat which could / should be addressed: the blinds in the bedroom are ineffective and let a lot of light in at night (they also don't give a great deal of privacy, especially when the lights are on inside). The bedsheet barely fitted and pulled out very easily, so by morning you're sleeping on the mattress. The flat is also very close to the front door, so if you have the windows open at night (and you will, to let some air circulate) then you hear every arrival and departure (especially the food deliveries arriving on scooters).

Flat was very clean and spacious. Well placed for park, museums, theatre and town and supermarket.
Some noise due to maon road.
Very light in bedrooms in morning. Could due with curtains not just blinds.

The owner did not provide enough dishwashing tablets and bathing gel. They also did not provide any oil, salt or pepper so visitor need to buy everything even only stay for few days.
