At check in, the lady was utterly delightful. Polite and assisted with local food suggestions. Here for 4 nights for business, the room got worse each night. The first night was the neighbors. Nothing the hotel can do about that, so I digress. The wallpaper is peeling, the tile in the bathroom appears to have been pushed out by the colony of bugs that reside in the walls. I don't know what kind of bugs they were, but they weren't afraid of the lights being in, and would join you as you use the restroom . The bed is moderate, but the pillows are a joke. The 4 pillows on the king size bed, were about the size of couch accent pillows, 2 of which were mildly comfortable, while the other 2 had lost their usefulness a decade ago. Breakfast is decent, a wife variety of .. well.. sausage and eggs . And over watered orange juice. The apple juice has probably been broken as long as the pool. Using hotels for 16 nights or more a month, you get tired of hotels not providing the amenities they list, yet charging the same prices, and blaming everything on someone else, or something else, instead of just owning the fact they don't have to repair it, everyone still pays the same,and they have less to pay to maintain. Might not be the same excuse at this particular hotel, but it's the common theme. Travelers vote with their money. I won't return, and hope that my review saves a few others from the same feeling of grime that I got from the property and lack of maintenance and upkeep.
