Le Clos Saint-Martin Hotel & Spa

This is heaven. On a beautiful island one of the best hotels I know. Perfect location, luxurious, incredible breakfast, very nice spa faciltities! A very young but extremely friendly and efficient staff. Always ready to help you with a big smile. We went last year for a week and this year again. We'll go again next year!

Fantastic stay. Loved everything about Le Clos but what sets it apart from other hotels is the team that run it. Thank you so much for such a fabulous stay. We hired electric bikes, rode to the point and had fantastic prawns followed by great restaurant recommendations. Fallen in love with this place and will be returning.

Every staff member at Clos St Martin is outstanding - reception, bar, housekeeping, breakfast - in fact, they are the nicest staff anywhere we have ever stayed. Pauline, Lea, Mamol, Camille, Everyone one is amazing ( and i know I haven’t recalled all the names of whom looked after us - sorry). - so so friendly and helpful and gracious. We had a lovely stay in Le Clos, a friendly professional welcoming check in where we were shown around the hotel and brought to our room. Throughout our stay, I’d lots of questions for reception and they helped me every time. They also offer a whatsapp service for questions which is so handy when one is out and about. The room was lovely and had a big window one could open fully with a nice view. The hotel facilities / pools etc and lovely, the parking is very useful and rare i’d say in St Martin. Breakfast or rather Brunch is outstanding - what a massive selection and it changes a little daily, also includes Champagne and Oysters. Also, It was served until 1pm which was very handy when you’re being lazy! The little bar there is lovely and handy when one wants and snack and everything is closed in St Martin. Overall, I can’t say enough about this hotel - I’d put it highly recommended.

Having checked out of a nearby hotel we decided to stay on a couple of extra days on Ile de Rė and we were so glad that we did! This lovely little hotel made us and our dog so very welcome. It is comfortable, chic and has excellent staff. I would like to give a special mention to Sebastian who we found particularly helpful. Our room was small but gorgeous with a very comfortable bed. We loved the breakfast /brunch arrangement which allowed for flexibility in time and was so very delicious. A really lovely hotel.

The service at this hotel was impeccable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has an electric car charger, dog friendly, 2 swimming pools and much more. It’s a small hotel that’s perfect for the island. Saint Martin is definitely the touristy part of the island but the hotel is in a perfect location to explore. Absolutely loved it!

This was one of the most relaxing hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment of arrival to the second I left, I was treated like a King. Every member of staff was a joy to meet on every occasion and they couldn't have been more helpful when asked a question. I can't wait to return to see them all again.

The staff are a gorgeous bunch of people. So friendly and accommodating and the service was impeccable. We especially loved Vicky (Victoria) who has an infectious smile and gave us great advice about the island. The rooms and pools (one no kids pool which we loved) are stunning. So chic and beautifully maintained. We can’t wait to come back.

This hotel, styling itself as a boutique spa/retreat style property, has a fantastic setting on the edge of St Martin. Parking is, surprisingly, an additional 18 euros per day which gains you a spot in the small courtyard by the entrance area. The hotel itself is ergonomically laid out with plenty of planting and wooden floors, two small pools (one for adults) and a separate spa which is available for guest use for an hour per day and consists of some themed showers, a relaxation area and a hot tub with garden. The staff are attentive and discreet and there are plenty of them buzzing around the place at all times. The room we booked, room 4, was stylish and compact. There were no shelving areas within the wardrobe, simply a small offering of hangers, which was a negative point for properly accommodating our clothes. The room gave out onto a small courtyard which in reality was something of a thoroughfare for staff. The breakfast each day was plentiful, varied and of a very high standard. It could be taken on the covered terrace or in the small breakfast room. We had a problem with the air conditioning unit in our room leading to water leakage onto the floor for over half our stay and which was not resolved by the hotel. We had to resort to putting towels on the floor to soak up the mess. I was surprised at check out that no compensatory offer was made to reflect this and it was left to me to ask for a gesture of goodwill from them, which came in the form of a 10% reduction in cost for the nights upon which we had been affected by the fault. Overall, a very well located hotel working to a high standard but needing to pay attention to some refinements which would be expected at this price point. In particular, to have a room fault persisting for three days is not acceptable, especially with no concession volunteered from the desk upon checkout to reflect that.

A wonderful oasis in St. Martin de Re. The hotel was excellent, great facilities, tranquil setting, just a short walk to the town centre and harbour area but a quiet sanctuary away when required. The staff were just fantastic, an exceptional team. We were greeted on arrival, personally shown all of the facilities before being taken to our room. Service throughout the stay was amazing, restaurants recommended and booked and staff always on hand without being in the way. The long buffet brunch allows for lazy mornings and has a wonderful selection of food. The on-site spa offers great trea**ent options and guest can use the spa facilities for 1 hour every day. A separate pool for adults allows for quieter relaxing. The hotel has a very laid back and relaxing style and as mentioned the staff are a shining example of how to run a hotel. We will definitely come back again…
