Hotel la Plage

We stayed here as my husband and I toured the south of France and found the property to be fairly basic and an older property that feels dated with no amenities. The bedding needs to be refreshed. It was clean though and quiet with lots of parking and there some cafes nearby if you drive 5 minutes.

Please check your mini bar everyday before room service!!!! Because when you check out, they will add other cost. Like 3 bottles of water even you didn’t touch. At 3am you can still hear the room next to you talking loudly and making strange noises. You can hear every single word, “the best french lesson” we have ever had.

The location was very nice and conveniently close to the beach. We enjoyed the water very much. It was a little too far from the city center to walk, but we were told we could take the bus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved with a few more choices of food. Overall it was a great choice for us. It is definitely recommended.

This place is a gem. Staff are extremely friendly and so helpful.

Location ok, near public beach, room is super small, no space for luggage, nice terrace, there is no complimentary water in room.

Hotel has a great location on a beach but is quite a way from the main town and restaurants. Was advertising a restaurant across the road that looked great and had an interesting menu - but then found out the place being advertised and all surrounding restaurants were actually shut for at least another week. Seems that 'off season' there is nothing to do or eat in the immediate area. Our room was a fair size and had a good bathroom with lots of storage. Nice amenities in the bathroom. Main room decor was looking a bit dated and the flooring was beginning to warp throughout, which might trip someone up. Looks like a chance to refurbish during Covid was missed. Hotel is advertised as no smoking but guests on ground floor seem to smoke outside on their balconies and this then makes the first floor rooms stink. Air conditioning was not working as turned off for the cold weather apparently even though it was almost 20 degrees the week we stayed. Hotel is facing a busy coastal road that seemed to get traffic all night so not great to sleep with the windows open. Staff were friendly and breakfast was pretty decent. Free parking on site but not clear if there would be enough if the hotel was full. If we went back to the area we would probably chance another hotel before booking here again.

We arrived to this hotel on our way to Barcelona. The staff was very friendly, they still have the charm of legacy hotel services such as stocked mini bar and a fridge. The ocean view is fantastic. We were very pleased over all with our stay, will definitely recommend it when visiting Saint Tropez.

Very average property. The room was very small. Location is okay , the beach was nothing special when we went.
