This was my first at this resort. My husband and I really enjoyed our spa experience. When you book an appointment you have access to the spa pool, steam room and sauna at any time during that day.
It was nice they had an adult area and a family area for pool lounging.
Having a nature trail was a plus! Plenty to do at the resort, make sure to check the calendar for events happening.
The food at Primero cantina was not good and not to my liking.
Shuttles are available to La Cantera shops and to fiesta texas.
We dined at Signature which was a really great place for a date. The red snapper was delicious!
Overall had a great experience.

There was NO RESERVATION upon arriving at the hotel!!! This website is a total scam/fraud!!!! Do not use!!!

Hotel is on beautiful piece of property. Gold course is beautiful and grounds were beautiful. Great food and service. However grounds were in need of maintenance. Pools missing tiles, were needing caulking around sides and there were fruit flies everywhere. Public areas needed clean up and upgrade for how expensive resort is. Rooms are old and AC in our room never cooled off and ran continuously. For a high rating resort, we expected a little more pristine rooms and buildings.

I love staying here!! The staff is attentive. Everything you need is on site and the shuttle is second to none. We loved our room service and we just love it at La Cantera!!!

Room were clean and comfortable. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful, seemingly a rarity these days. We stayed on all adult floor, Seven, and enjoyed happy hour, breakfast, and floor concierges. The package came with spa day passes. The spa is a must with steam room, sauna, relaxation room, views, outdoor heated pool, and hot tub. We got treatment and they were awesome!
Will definitely come back. Lots of pools and amenities.

This is a very beautiful property, but it is advertised as being in the same category has Hyatt Hill Country. The overnight cost is significant and then you pay an additional $100 per night upon arrival for parking and "amenities." One of these was s'mores which they did not host at all. The outside pool had no service to it on a Saturday for drink or food. Our beds' headrests had stains and we called the front desk to get them cleaned and there was no answer. This was a new room with unclean headrests. The restaurants within the hotel have very steep prices as well. The self-parking is a good walk away from the rooms too. So ultimately, I thought the hotel was attractive, I do not see what amenities or conveniences I was paying for.
