CHECK IN:
Upon checking in, the staff appeared annoyed. I wasn't sure why-I got in at about 8:00 PM but they seem to want to get off shift.
CLEANING:
I asked for cleaning midway through my stay and that was not done.
I also communicated I would like a 12 noon late checkout time. The front desk neglected to relay my departure time to the cleaning staff, resulting in multiple disturbances.
NO ELEVATORS:
This hotel is NOT accessible and has no elevators. I had to carry my luggage up three flights of stairs to reach my room on the third floor, which was quite challenging.
FOOD:
Breakfast was very early and there was a significant time change for me, so I never actually made it to the 8:30am cut off. I suggest that breakfast be open until 10:00 AM.
The snacks were both scarce and costly. I would recommend that at least a bottle of water be given to the guests.
GENERAL:
The hotel upgraded me to a two-bedroom, despite my earlier decline.
The room was "non-smoking," however, I could tell the room had been a smoking room not that much earlier, and it reeked of smoke. When I first entered the room, one of the fire alarms was beeping. They fixed that quickly, however.
Despite the issues, the beds were very comfortable.
I would likely go back, but prepare for the above problems before a stay.
