Cala Laiya

BABALIK AKO DITO PROMISE!!! 1st timer kami lahat and we enjoy the place weekdays kami pumunta kaya konti lang ang guest kaya kala mo inarkila mo ung place.. sarap ng food and sobrang love ko ung SAMPALOC JUICE nila sobrang mamiss ko un kasi wla sa manila nun ehheh... reasonable ung price ng Food ... Maganda ung place pang IG.. kaya lang medyo di ko bet ung dagat kasi mabato pero their pool is Great.. maintain ung warm water sa pool.. Very accomodating ang staffs nila .. kaya we will back again..

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place itself is isolated and can become confusing getting in a out of there. We found certain things a bit odd such as we needed to pay for our regular drinks (coffee, juice) as they were not included with the breakfast. We would ask for a fruit salad with mangoes or bananas and the waiter would say that it wasn’t available. However, a few minutes later he would show up with it. The food at the two restaurants was fine and we did enjoy it. Another odd thing was that the room safe didn’t have instructions and we couldn’t use it. Water sports seemed to be done early in the morning with high tide. In the afternoon with the low tide, no water sports were available. The main disappointment was that the archery range was not operational. We were looking forward to it. The place itself is fine for relaxation, sitting underneath a tree, and watch the time pass by. My wife had a massage and she did enjoy it. However, it would be better to get out of there during the day and enjoy the Batangas area. The room that we had, casitas, was fine for both of us. I would like to see more daily activities included before going back again. Thank you.

Great service, the staff are all accommodating , friendly and helpful. Superb and scrumptious food. Very Clean, hygienic and kid-friendly spot. Well maintained property, “you get what you pay for”. I would highly recommend this resort to all my friends and relatives.

Such a nice place, good food — two restaurants so there were options, great service, rooms were also pretty and comfy, water sports were fun, we will surely go back! What we found very interesting was the iPad in the room that we used to communicate with the restaurants and the front desk. Oh and we also liked that we could eat our complimentary breakfast in our rooms!

Always lovely to stay at Cala. Comfortable rooms, clean rooms and bathrooms. I love how they listen to comments and feedback and execute them to make the place better. An example - the first time we visited Cala a few years back, the food was so-so and they had no halo-halo. So I wrote in my feedback that they should have halo-halo especially during the summer. It’s like a staple Filipino snack. Lo and behold, the food improved and the halo-halo was included. I’ve seen Cala get better and better each time we visit. It’s our home away from home. The staff is friendly and courteous and patient. Always with a smile even if some people were not headed because food service was kind of slow. Cala isn’t like the all other hotels and resorts that will charge you for every single thing they can charge you with. Cala maximizes what you’ve paid. They always extend a helping hand, including offering to bring your car to the mechanic so that your tires can be changed or engine checked. There’s always something to do at Cala - water sports, pool, the trail, the animals. You can also sit under the tree and read a good book. Superb place. Superb service. And they love your pets too! It’s beyond 5 stars. See you again in a few!

the place is outstanding & perfect hospitality. Everyone is great right from reception staff to the chef. The food is so Good and delicious my daughter loves it so much. The staff are kind and very accomodating especially ate Alona who is so happy to be with.The pool is so nice and the beach is so clean the resort is also a child friendly place they have a mini playground and other beautiful views to scroll around.What i love the most on this trip my child always say that she is so happy and we saw that for the first time in all our trips. 🥹 Well recommended place indeed.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great pet friendly resort! Great service, good food except deserts which needs much improvement, very nice facilities and casitas. Coffee/tea should be part of free breakfast package though. Third time to visit and glad to see more pools added and nice new italian restaurant!

Amazing experienced during our stay, you can really relax. Cala Laiya is so peaceful and has clean rooms and delicious food. Fantastic resort and the staffs there are also fantastic very polite and helpful. I really enjoyed their facilities it was so instagrammable and you can enjoy many activities like snorkeling while riding in a balsa or a small raft, archery, and kayak. Kudos to all. Will surely come back again!

I had a blast and very glad to stay here. All staff are very accommodating and very welcoming. Please keep up the good work.. we hope to return here as soon as possible and spend more time here. A high quality resort worth staying for vacation..
