The property is located in an absolutely beautiful area with amazing views of the hills with vineyards and a pond.
The downside was my room was next to the property's generator and while we were literally the only customers besides the hacienda the hotel management declined putting me in one of the many other rooms "sorry we're full"...The other downside was the breakfast which at this price point should be better: more fresh and varied.

Beautiful property and relaxing couples get away. No distractions, very peaceful ranch on a vineyard with rolling hill sunsets. Loved the detailed touches on the suite; local snacks and goodies included.

This was ideal for us, a gorgeous inn truly in the country, yet 10 minutes by car from the restaurants and attractions of San Luis Obispo. We were delighted with the large suite, Room 100. Other rooms are on the small side and a bit dark. The rooms don't have blackout curtains and have three high windows without shades. Walls were a bit thin--we could hear people talking next door. Our suite had a kitchen, but there was no cooktop and not even a microwave. The grounds are gorgeous. The owner was away and there was no one to ask for advice on restaurants, wineries or attractions.

La Lomita Ranch is very special , unique and the ultimate get away . We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there and will definitely come back. The attention to detail in the rooms is amazing and the complimentary homemade breakfast served was extremely filling and delicious. My husband and i in spite of the cooler evenings enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the open seated area where they provided a lovely ambiance and surprisingly, amazing warmth. Plenty of hiking trails throughout the premises and situated right in wine country and minutes from San Luis Obispo

La Lomita Ranch is a beautiful property, that is exceptionally cared for in every sense of the word. Accommodations are warm and inviting, creating an immediate sense of calm and escape from the pressures of daily life. Darlene welcomed us at the Ranch’s entry drive and personally assisted us to our room, providing a genuine warmth and charm. Darlene personally created a beautiful breakfast every morning, including the best French pressed coffee, assor**ent of fresh fruit and homemade breakfast. Beautiful walking trails, relaxing seating areas throughout the property, allowing you to take in the natural beauty of the property. Do yourself a favor, take a moment out of your busy life to stop and remember what true relaxation within a beautiful environment means.

What a wonderful experience! The room was attractive and clean, the bathroom was just beautifully tiled, the breakfast was a feast, and Darlene is a warm, friendly, interesting person. We would love to come again!
