The Phoenix Resort

The service and location are top notch. We can't wait to go back! The rooms are spacious and well maintained daily. The pool staff are so friendly and the restaurant food is delicious. Centrally located, it is easy to get to lots of shopping and activities nearby.

We stayed here for our last night and wish we would’ve stayed the entire vacation! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and it felt like a home. It was so clean, had all the amenities you’d ever need and the location is perfect. Don’t pass this one up!

Where do I begin, The hospitality: This is what will keep me coming back to this hotel. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They create a group chat between the guest and concierge which I thought was great, but I forgot to check regularly as I was totally checked out! The nightly turn down service after a long day was welcomed. The hotel: Centrally located, there is no place better. the water taxi is minutes away, the best restaurants are within walking distance, and the truck stop 15-minute golf cart ride. This place is well maintained, and the pool area was very clean. There is a lap pool and a larger waterfall pool. There are more than enough lounge chairs and a pool bar with daily happy hour! The restaurant severe the best of Belizean cuisine, the fry jack breakfast tacos and the conch fritters are a must try. The spa treatment was also very relaxing. The rooms The suites are beautifully maintained with local artwork on every wall. We had the 3 bed/3 bath with water views, and it was the perfect 5 day stay. It was airconditioned to a cool 70 degrees, there were too many perfectly fluffy pillows and the bed felt like home. The full-size kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there is a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is plenty of room for a large family. Absolutely returning without question! Sorry not sorry but no pictures, I was literally checked out with my phone off the whole time.

If you’re looking for a home away from home, and you’re considering the Phoenix, then you’ve found it! This was our second stay at the Phoenix, and won’t be our last. Staying there has so many benefits! It’s in the middle of town so you have access to everything right at your fingertips or footsteps right out the front gate. We love the walkability, but if you want a golf cart, they have ones for you to rent right there. We also love having the full kitchen for the meals when you just don’t feel like going out or even when you want to bring your leftovers back. The other amenities at the Phoenix are over the top! Look at the list of things on their website that they can help you with or they already have in the rooms! The entire staff is so helpful from Marisol, Danny, Pam, and Candice at the front desk to the guys at the bar, the security guards, maintenance and housekeepers! I could go on and on! Thank you Phoenix for the wonderful mother/daughter trip memories!

The physical space is gorgeous and is centrally located. BUT what makes this resort so wonderful is the service the staff provides. Awesome! They booked air travel for my two children from Belize City to San Pedro and emailed detailed instructions regarding how to get to the resort (ground transportation is provided by the resort). They noticed that I hadn't requested transportation and asked if I needed any. The two salt water pools are beautiful and the pool staff are extremely attentive. I would rate this resort 10 stars if I could!

We had the absolute best time at The Phoenix in Belize. We are a family of 5 and went with two other families for Spring Break. We loved the extra space in our condo and being able to spread out as a family. The resort is wonderful! It was easy to navigate and connect with the other families we went with too. What makes it most special, is the people. We loved Cindy in the kids club, Ricky and Rolly at the pool bar, the amazing and sweet ladies at the front desk, and all of the attentive staff at the The Red Ginger. The housekeepers were also amazing. Basically, the VERY BEST people at The Phoenix and the VERY BEST views and vibe, and the BEST location we have ever experienced on a beach vacation. We can’t wait to go back!

Staying at The Phoenix Resort was an incredible choice. The location was perfect and the room was great. It was a large, one bedroom with a full kitchen. It was very comfortable and we really enjoyed having coffee on the patio every morning. The best part of The Phoenix is the people and the service. They went above and BEYOND to take care of our every need. From arranging flights, snorkel tours, restaurant reservations, and even sunburn relief. Free Happy Hour every day was a blast! All the employees were super friendly. Special shout out to Orlando, Ricky, and Tatiana! And Thank You Pamela for all your help planning our vacation. We have stayed in many luxury resorts, and The Phoenix really stands out as an exceptional experience.

The Phoenix is our favorite place to stay in San Pedro. We've been for several years in a row and always have a wonderful time. The staff are more like family, they're there year after year. The Phoenix is the perfect place to relax. We don't feel like we have to stay inside the resort all day, but are also perfectly comfortable when we do. The food is terrific and they just make it easy.

Since 2014, The Phoenix has been so phenomenal we've gone eleven times in those ten years! When we go it's like returning to our own little slice of paradise that feels like a home away from home, but with an ocean view!! We love it so much we've brought family and friends who have permanently joined the Phoenix Fan Club with us! In addition to the beauty of the surroundings, it's the staff of the Phoenix that make it unforgettable! Can't wait to return in December -- we're already booked!
