Albergo la Felicina - Mugello

We’re midway through the Via Degli Dei walk and our holiday company put us in this hotel for the night as we passed through the area. This is a terrific, fun place to stay. It was clearly the life’s work of the late Bruno (who died in October 2022) who collected all the wonderful artefacts that decorate the place. It would be quite easy to spend a rainy day exploring each of the ground floor public rooms. The two young girls who now run the place on behalf of Bruno’s family have the broadest smiles and are very helpful. Our room (101) was classic, comfortable and clean with a view onto the main square. We slept right through the morning’s earthquake (5.1, about 30km north-east)! They arranged dinner for us in the local restaurant across the square (Regulos) and provided a very comprehensive buffet breakfast. We were sorry to leave.

This hotel feels more like a home and museum where you receive a very warm welcome (in fluent English) by the owner and their lovely staff. The rooms are living museum halls where various collections can be enjoyed. The food and wine was excellent and personal atttention by the owner, his father and the friendly staff made this a unique stay during our Via degli Dei hike. It felt like being in a movie instead of a place rest after a long hike through the mountains; days after we still had a smiles on our faces while talking about San Piero de Sieve and the fantastic La Felicina hotel.

While doing via degli dei in very wet conditions, the welcome Was warm and genuine . Quirky hotel But couldn’t fault it and was what we needed after cold And wet . Breakfast communal Table but all young staff were great and very friendly . Good places nearby for food and drinks. Fankyou

Personal rooms and very funny decorated B and B. We were very well taken care of by the hosts. Good breakfast served in the living room and we felt very welcome everywhere . A good memory on or trek Via degli Dei

What a delight to finish a long hike along the Via Degli Dei and end up at this wonderful place. As we came out of the mountains, we were hoping for a place with a few more creature comforts and expectations were exceeded. We were greeted with warmth, led to a lovely library with tea and comfortable couches, and invited to “just relax” - so great! Our meals (dinner and breakfast) were delicious and I wish we had time to explore the Mugello Hills more following one of the several itineraries. Comfortable room, great conversation, and lots of fun collections to admire. I was sad to leave!

Da premettere che non ho soggiornato in questa struttura per il semplice fatto che il signor titolare della medesima mi ha cancellato la mia prenotazione. Innanzitutto preciso questo che quello che scrivo serva a chi a intenzione di soggiornare qui. Prenotazione fatta un anno ripeto UN ANNO PRIMA ad due mesi dal gran premio del Mugello del 2024 i codesti signori mi dicono che dovevo cancellare la mia prenotazione perché la squadra pinco pallino SENZA FARE NOMI doveva soggiornare per l’intera settimana del gran premio. Oggi in data 05/05/2024 a 25 giorni dal gran premio per colpa della maleducazione e non aggiungo altro mi ritrovo senza una sistemazione e con tanto di biglietti fatti sia della nave che del circuito. Ma la cosa più bella è che mi trova una sistemazione che secondo loro doveva andarmi bene. Non accetto la disonestà a certi livelli che solo per incassare più denaro dalla squadra pinco pallino SENZA FARE NOMI vi siate permessi voi struttura a cancellare la mia prenotazione. Avremmo modo di conoscerci di persona. Aggiungo a tutti buon soggiorno nell’albergo più disonesto della Toscana che dal 2006 ad oggi che vado al Mugello non ho mai subito una cosa del genere. PESSIMO anzi PESSIMI

Sto percorrendo la via degli dei a piedi, ma senza pernottare sulla via. Di tanto in tanto chiedo il timbro ad alberghi e ristoranti sulla strada per avere contezza del percorso. Tutti lo hanno fatto senza problemi, ma lui no. Perché se non pernotto non può timbrarmi la credenziale, come se questa fosse un documento fiscale! Bah!

Meraviglia delle meraviglie, ci hanno aperto le porte della loro casa, una casa con un passato lunghissimo, piena di ricordi messi in esposizione, dalla bacheca con le borsette da polso per signora ai modellini di aerei, navi e auto, tutto circondato da quadri e libri notevoli. Le camere superlative e altrettanto la colazione servita nella confort zone

Ottimo albergo molto carino con personale gentile e disponibile . Stanze arredate con stile retrò, pulite e profumate . Colazione internazionale servita su un grande tavolo comune . Consigliato per chi vuole visitare la zona , oltre alla pista del Mugello !
